Clawson Runs - Freedom Run 5K and Firecracker Mile Presented by OUR Credit Union

Freedom Run 5k & Free 1-Mile Kids Run On Sunday June 28th, OUR Credit Union presents the Clawson Freedom Run. First run in 1979, this evening event travels along the tree lined streets of Clawson. Participants are cheered on by residents as they wind their way through the neighborhood. Start/Finish line is at Clawson's City Park. Event kicks off with a FREE 1-mile kids run along the wood chip path around City Park. Race day registration and check in starts at 6:15 pm. Kids 1-Mile starts at 7 pm.5k starts at 7:30 pm. Kids 1-Mile awards to top 3 boys and girls (12 and under).  5k awards include - Medals to the top 50 male and female finishers, Trophies to the top 3 male and female finishers as well as 1st place in every age group. You must register by June 12th to be guaranteed a shirt.   4th of July Firecracker Mile On the morning of the 4th of July, the Firecracker Mile starts on 14 Mile just east of Crooks and runs along the parade route before finishing just east of Livernois
