Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, brace

Come participate in this unique 5k run/walk to benefit the Lycoming County S.P.C.A. Our course caters to runners, walkers, and pet/human teams who will all participating together on the same course. The course loops through the South Williamsport Community Park and Little League International’s baseball stadiums. The course contains a short but steep climb up and around Little League International’s Headquarters and back down for an unforgettable view that makes the climb all worthwhile. And what would a dog-friendly event be without a division for dogs participating with their humans? The course offers water stations for humans and dogs and dog waste disposal receptacles along the course.  Registration Fee  Preregistration: $30/individual, $20 for children under 14 years of age.  Pre-registration closes on Wednesday, April 22nd at 12 noon.  On-site registration: $35/individual, $25 for children under 14 years of age.   Registration includes a long sleeve shirt.  Shirts are guaranteed

This event will be held at the Bowman Business Park in Williamsport, MD…..just minutes from PA, 20 minutes from Martinsburg, WV and Frederick, MD and 90 minutes from Baltimore and DC. The races will start and finish in the parking lot area between the two Breweries, Cushwa Brewing Co and Interchange Tiki Bar & Brewing. The event will include a kids .50 mile fun run, a 5K road race (runners, walkers, families invited), a 21 & older Beer Mile, Tiki-tizer mile. There will be an after-party that will start at 11:00am and end around 3pm. Participants have the option to sign up for all 3 races, the 5K, Beer Mile, and TIki Tizer races as the events do not overlap.   **Please Note: We do not offer refunds or deferrals. Race day registration and sign-in is open from 7:00AM to 8:45AM Registration: Pre-reg $25.  Race Day Registration $30.  Race shirts guaranteed to anyone that signs up by April 26 The May Day Race is in its 28th year with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Our family-friendly race welcomes beginner, recreational and experienced runners and walkers. Chip timing and long-sleeve technical shirts.   All registrants will be entered to win post-race door prizes.   The run/walk will start and finish at WaterTower Square, located on Commerce Park Drive in Loyalsock Township (Williamsport). The course is a flat course with a turn-around at the half-way point for the 5K and the 10K. Water stations are located at the 1.5 mile, 3 mile and 4.5 mile markers.   BACK AGAIN IN 2026!  We will be offering a virtual run for $25 without a shirt and $30 with a shirt.  Event shirt will be mailed out after race day. This event is geared towards all levels from beginners to advanced runners. The Legacy of Gary Brown In the 1960's, Gary Brown was a star distance runner for Martinsburg High School, Shepherd College and the Cumberland Valley Athletic Club.  Gary went into high school teaching and coaching after graduating from Shepherd College. He developed one of the nation’s top distance programs. In the mid-1970's his Handley High School Boys Cross Country Team was the number one ranked High School Cross Country Team in the United States.   Sadly, Gary passed way from cancer in the winter of 1981-82, prior to his 35th birthday.
