Come join us for a fun night on the Penn College campus to help raise funds for Alpha Chi! Bib pick-up @6pm. Race @7pm Start/Finish Penn College Field House Costumes welcome (and encouraged!). Special prizes for costumes. Age group awards. Alpha Chi is the honors society for 4-year degree-seeking students. The funds from this event are used to pay the national dues for students who meet the requirements for induction. This ensures finances do not limit student access to this organization.

Come celebrate the end of the 2026 cross country season with a 5K XC Run at one of the region’s premiere golf courses, Crown Hill Golf Club, located at 9500 US Route 22 W., Williamsport, Ohio 43164. The 5K course will consist of paved, gravel, grass and dirt surfaces and feature challenging rolling terrain. Beautiful scenery throughout the course will elevate your running experience. The course will have a dramatic downhill start from the #9 Tee and then follow the cart path to a finish near the 18th green. All proceeds will benefit Hope House of Pickaway County, a registered 501 (c) (3), an emergency shelter serving homeless men in Pickaway County. Be You Boldly and race founder Cecilia Fink (now a Pitt grad student), is still involved with the event. A portion of the race proceeds will be donated out by Cecilia to local charities of her selection; K’s for Cancer, created in memory of Justin Flannery Hilton providing direct and immediate support to cancer patients and their families here in Lycoming County and RVR YMCA Livestrong Program benefitting their cancer survivors. Join us for the 4th Annual Rosko's Brew House Black Friday 1K on Friday November 27th, 2026! Did you eat too much on Thanksgiving? Do you need to run or walk off that extra slice of pie, or that extra drink or two you had at the end of the night? Did you overdo it in the Thanksgiving turkey trot and need a little stretchy? Or, are you "Just Here for the Beer"? (Let's face it, most of us are!) The Rosko's Black Friday 1K is one of our favorite events of the year. Run, walk, or skip 1 kilometer (~0.65 miles) around the block with us. We even have permission to walk around the block with our beers, if you choose. And best of all, after a day of giving thanks, and during the biggest shopping day of the year, all of the proceeds from the event are donated to Dwell Orphan Care. Dwell supports foster, adoptive, and kinship families by providing goods, supplies, and services that create opportunities for the children to thrive. Help our neighbors out, and do it for the kids! This race will begin in downtown Williamsport, go through Old Town, to the Williamsport Boat Launch on the Wabash River, then through Falls Branch Park, to finish in town. This event will bring attention to the Wabash River Blueway grant project and will be co-sponsored by Seeger Cross Country.

This event will be held at the Bowman Business Park in Williamsport, MD…..just minutes from PA, 20 minutes from Martinsburg, WV and Frederick, MD and 90 minutes from Baltimore and DC. The races will start and finish in the parking lot area between the two Breweries, Cushwa Brewing Co and Interchange Tiki Bar & Brewing. The event will include a kids .50 mile fun run, a 5K road race (runners, walkers, families invited), a 21 & older Beer Mile, Tiki-tizer mile. There will be an after-party that will start at 11:00am and end around 3pm. Participants have the option to sign up for all 3 races, the 5K, Beer Mile, and TIki Tizer races as the events do not overlap.   **Please Note: We do not offer refunds or deferrals. *NEW DATE in 2026! Run with us on JUNE 6th! The 45th Annual Gary Brown Memorial C&O Canal Five Mile Run event will be held on the C&O Canal Towpath in Williamsport, MD. This event is geared towards all levels from beginners to advanced runners. The Legacy of Gary Brown In the 1960's, Gary Brown was a star distance runner for Martinsburg High School, Shepherd College and the Cumberland Valley Athletic Club.  Gary went into high school teaching and coaching after graduating from Shepherd College. He developed one of the nation’s top distance programs. In the mid-1970's his Handley High School Boys Cross Country Team was the number one ranked High School Cross Country Team in the United States.   Sadly, Gary passed way from cancer in the winter of 1981-82, prior to his 35th birthday.
