A Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix, Hampton Road Super Grand Prix event. This will be an in-person event limited to 250 participants. All proceeds benefit the Colonial Road Runners Scholarship Fund. The race is held in memory of Michael Mann, Tom Ray and Joe Harney. This is the 30th annual race starting in New Quarter Park. A flat out-and-back course with loop into Queens Lake residential neighborhood. Tranquil, scenic woodland setting along asphalt paved roads near the Colonial Parkway, in York County. One of the fastest courses in the Williamsburg area and is USATF certified (VA20004RT). Please see Race Map tab above for course map and video. Race day registration is available from 7:30-8:45.

Join James City County Parks & Recreation in the sixth annual Bike the Bridge event taking place Saturday, April 4 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. The route will start in James City County, cross the Chickahominy River and enter into Charles City County along the Virginia Capital Trail.  Routes options include 15, 25 and 50 miles. Parking, rider check-in and lunch will be located at Jamestown Beach Event Park, 2205 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Take a walk on the WILDSTRIDE! Happy Cat Fitness often attempts to promote strength training alongside running and hiking. Let's combine the two! The event will combine bodyweight strength exercises with hiking/running intervals. There will be two distance options, the Hikestrong 10k and Hikestrong Half. It will feature 6  low impact, bodyweight, basic strength challenges like squats, lunges and push ups. The course is a 2.2 mile trail loop with beautiful scenery, some hills and a few short uneven/technical sections. The main part of the trail is a crushed rock surface. The Half Marathon will feature 6 loops, 6 strength stations to be performed at the start of each loop (50 reps of 1 exercise per station). The 10k will have 3 loops, 3 stations. You can perform 50 reps each of 2 exercises per station OR 50 reps of the first 3 exercises only (Squats, push ups lunges) per station, your choice! Racers can run or walk. Race Day Registration begins at 7:30 am  Virginia Regional Ballet, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and the Colonial Road Runners announce the 9th annual 5K in Williamsburg, on a counterclockwise loop of the beautiful tree-lined First Colony neighborhood, 125 Pasbehegh Drive.  This is a Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix Event.  The purpose of this popular event is to raise funds for a live orchestra for Virginia Regional Ballet’s annual production of The Nutcracker ballet at Ferguson Center for the Arts, Newport News, in December. The Patriots Triathlon is a great end of season race with Olympic and Sprint options all while being just minutes from historic Williamsburg, VA and the Jamestown Settlement. The swim takes place at beautiful Jamestown beach where you can watch Osprey catch their breakfast or see a pod of dolphins swim along the course. The bike course is flat, fast and parallels the Cap-Cap bike trail along Rt. 5. The run course is simply amazing as it winds through historic farmland and forest on a combination of bike paths and jogging trails. Weighted Angels is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization operating out of the Virginia Peninsula. We provide weighted stuffed animals to grieving families who have experienced stillbirth and infant loss before they leave the hospital. Stretch your running legs and support Grove Christian Outreach Center at the 5th annual Grove Trotter 5K/10K. The event will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 taking off from Chickahominy Riverfront Park. The run will start out going over the Chickahominy River Bridge, out on the Capital Trail and then back in to the park for a full 5K or 10K. The entire run will take place on the well maintained Capital Trail. This is a Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix event, and awards will be given for various age groups. The Grove Trotter 5K/10K Bridge Run is a fundraising event to support Grove Christian Outreach Center. Join us for the Annual JLHR Jingle Jog 1 Mile Family Fun Run & 5k Race hosted by the Junior League of Hampton Roads!
