Join us for a day of camaraderie at our annual 11/22 mile rucks as we celebrate Veterans Day and bring awareness to Veteran suicide and its prevention. Registrants will receive a RFV t-shirt and one (1) beverage at the end of the ruck. Rucking for Veterans is a group of veterans and civilians whose purpose is to bring awareness to and advocate for the prevention of Veteran Suicide. Also, to provide support to all veterans and their families through fundraising and community outreach. We ruck in honor and in memory of our fallen service members, while carrying the names of our fallen comrades on yellow remembrance ribbons. myTEAM TRIUMPH (mTT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that participates in endurance events as a team. The Women's League of Westport, formerly the Westport Young Women's League, presents the 47th Annual Minute Man Race at Compo Beach. The event is one of Connecticut's most exciting community traditions, bringing together runners and walkers of all levels. The race day features a USATF-certified 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk, and Kids’ Fun Run, including a ½K and 1K dash. Families can enjoy the lively Kids Zone, packed with activities and entertainment during the races. Every stride makes a difference — all net proceeds benefit the Women’s League of Westport Grants Program, supporting charities and nonprofit organizations across Fairfield County. A series of ten progressively longer races, held at various locations throughout the Town of Westport. We're happy to announce the 64th annual Roadrunners Summer Series! Once again, we will be using the follow protocols: There will be no in-person race day registration on paper forms. Online registration will remain open until the start time. Runners should register before arriving at the race site, or on their phones when they get there (scan the QR code on the sandwich board sign), then check in with other pre-registered runners. Once again, we will utilize ChronoTrack chip timing technology for all races. This will give all runners a net or "chip" time based on when they cross the start, and will have the added benefit of almost instant results. If you sign up for text alerts, your finish time and place will be waiting for you on your phone when you get back to your car.
