Welcome the 13th annual TTR Trussville Trail Run!  Bama's ONLY 8K trail run.    Located at the Trussville Sports Complex. Saturday May 16th 7am start (start and finish at the Trussville Senior Citizens Center) This year's race will benefit the Troy Ellis Foundation!!                         thetroyellisfoundation.com    Where we're going... we don't need roads!

This is a FREE 5k/10k length group run that will begin and end at the Veterans Memorial at 55 Parkway Dr in Trussville AL! Everyone is welcome to join in, and wear your patriotic attire as we observe the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Parking will be located across the street at Church of the Holy Cross Trussville. 90 Parkway Dr Trussville AL 35173. We will begin with a 5min devotional, a short prayer, and then we will all start together after taps is played. There will be arrows on the course for you to follow. And there will be a water station. There will also be a clock set up, but there is no official timer for this event. *This is a FREE group walk jog run through the Trecho Walk Jog Run Club. There is no need to register for this event, signing up/ registering just helps with planning purposes. Register now for the Friends of the Trussville Library Bookin' It 5K 2026 race! New this year - stroller and sleep-in options! The Friends of the Trussville Public Library are enthusiastic library partners who play a vital role in the life of the Library by assisting staff with community programming, advocacy, fundraising, hosting book sales, and offering their continual support.  The race will start and finish at the Trussville Public Library and will be chip timed. A race t-shirt is included with the registration fee!

The Trussville Witches Ride, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting local families in need through its annual charity bike ride. Held through the historic Cahaba Homestead Village District, this fun and spooky event gathers the community to raise funds for a nominated beneficiary—chosen through a fair, unbiased selection process. Each year, the community nominates individuals or families who could benefit from financial support, and the Board selects the nominee whose needs are most urgent. Past rides have raised tens of thousands of dollars for deserving causes, from heart transplant families to children with rare medical conditions. Foundations For Hope 5K- October 31, 2026  8am-10am Chipped Time Event Run or Walk 5K Fun For All Jerry Can 5K Relay- will be a (3) person relay with both men's teams and women's teams welcome. Each team will run/walk the 5K with a Jerry can provided by Foundations 4 Hope. The Jerry can will be filled with 5 Gallons (42lbs) of water for men teams and 3 Gallons (25lbs) of water for women teams. Time results end when the last person of each team crosses the finish line. Each team will sign up for the race as single entry but will be responsible for forming their own (3) person teams. The Jerry can can be carried in any position desired but no straps or alternative methods/additions to the can will be permitted. All age athletes are welcomed!
