It's Fiesta time with a touch of Día de los Muertos with this super fun sunset 5K!  Runners will start and finish through the most spectacular start/finish line anywhere, a 25ft tall Candy Skull!  This is a fun-filled themed event with entertainment, great food & drink (think margaritas & tacos!), costume prizes, awesome shirts and medals, and lots more!

ABOUT THIS EVENTThe 5k course is on flat, paved roads in Kerkhoven. The 10k course is mostly paved roads with about 1.5 miles of mowed grass on the golf course. There is also a short distance of gravel road. Water stops every couple of miles. After the run, there will be children’s games and a children’s tractor pull, a flea market, firemen’s feed, kiddie rides, swimming and a parade, all part of the annual Kerkhoven Town and Country Days.Please feel free to stay and enjoy the day.   REGISTRATION INFORMATIONPre-registration closes July 22nd at 8:00pm. Lakewalk Surgery Center has stepped up to suspend the no refund policy and instead allow deferrals to next year in the event we have to cancel.    REGISTRATION Online Registration closes at 11:59pm on Thursday night before the race. There will be in person registration at The Barrel Room in the Fitger's complex across from the Brewhouse from 4-7pm on Saturday night. Cash, Check or Charge.
