Join us for the Inaugural Moving for Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee 5k and Kids' 1-Mile Fun Run!  Lace up for a scenic 5k course through Sharp Springs Park or cheer on the kids as they take on their own 1-mile adventure.  The 5k course is certified and will be timed. Every participant will receive a commemorative T-shirt and medal to celebrate crossing the finish line.  Whether you are racing for a personal best or just enjoying the run/walk, this event is a perfect way to kick off a new community tradition in support of the Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee! All 5k registrants are welcome to take part in the Kids' 1-Mile Fun Run at no additional cost. Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit milk bank dedicated to providing safe, pasteurized donor human milk to the most vulnerable babies in need of lifesaving nutrition. We are thrilled to host Moving for Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee. Funds raised will further advance our mission.  Your support

5K run/walk, pets on a leash are allowed. All finishers are awarded a finishers medal, there are age group 1st and 2nd finishers awards for under 20, 20-40, 40-60, and, 60 +.. This event is sponsored by the Stones River Marine Corps League Detachment 1158 and funds are raised to support our Youth group and local Veteran groups such as the Tennessee Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, TN. Check-In/Packet pick-up will be available on on race day starting at 7 am. Any signups after March 20th will not be able to receive a finishers medal due time restrictions.

Dress as your favorite superhero to support mothers and fathers who have had to show their bravery through the struggles of child loss.  This fun run is brought to you by the Blakelyn Foundation. All proceeds from this race will be used to assist mothers and fathers with medical and/or funeral expenses who experience the loss of an infant due to stillbirth.  Join us for a Chip Timed 5k on Saturday, August 29, 2026. We will have fun activities for the entire family including food and treats, photo booth with superhero props, inflatables and lots more!
