We are excited to have the ability to offer an inclusive program that will develop character both mentally and physically through fun, educational, and community focused curriculum. At TRI913, our mission is simple: To inspire and empower youth of all ages to believe in themselves and recognize that they can achieve more than they ever thought possible.  Through the sport of triathlon, we aim to build confidence, perseverance, and teamwork, helping each athlete realize their full potential—both in and out of the race. Cargo Classic 5k & Fun Run/Walk

Cargo Ranch will be hosting the 11th Annual Cargo Classic on April 18th at 8:00 am. The run will happen at the Cargo Ranch, 4 miles NW of Shawnee, located at 8895 Coker Rd Shawnee, OK.  The 5k will be run on a USATF certified course there will also be a 1 Mile Run or Walk.  After the run, all the runners are served a hot breakfast as the awards are given out.  If you sign up by April 3rd you can take advantage of the early bird pricing of $30 for the 1 Mile Donut Dash and $35 for the 5k, and get a guaranteed shirt in your size.   About Cargo Ranch: Cargo Ranch is a mentorship program for youth in our community that have struggles or obstacles in their lives that make day to day living more difficult. The Midwest Triathlon Series brings together three of the region’s most respected and athlete-favorite events for a true test of consistency, grit, and endurance. GCTC Rocket Man Run 5K & Fun Walk

Gordon Cooper Technology Center Foundation Presents Rocket Man Run 5K & Fun Walk!  Gordon Cooper Technology Center-Main Campus-One John C. Bruton Blvd., Shawnee Oklahoma   COST: 5K and Fun Walk-$30 (+ online registration processing fees) SWAG: All participants registered by 11:59PM on August 1st are guaranteed a short-sleeved, cotton t-shirt. All registrants after that time are NOT guaranteed a t-shirt. COURSE: Out and back with inclines/hills.  DISTANCE: 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk. TIMING: All 5K participants will be professionally chip timed and receive an official race finish time. Fun Walk participants will not be timed.  A kiosk will be available to scan your bib and receive a printout of your time.  TIMES WILL BE POSTED ON THE RACE WEBSITE WITHIN 24 HOURS.   RESULTS: Results will be available on this race web page within 24 hours of the race concluding. The Blue Blaze Festival - Run, Hike & Backpack on the Buckeye Trail  The Blue Blaze Festival is a celebration of Ohio's Buckeye Trail in conjunction with National Public Lands Day. Whether you are a trail runner, hiker, or would like to learn more about backpacking you are welcome to be a part of our celebration of the Buckeye Trail (BT). Join us for the 2026 Blue Blaze Festival and explore the diversity and beauty of the outdoors. This year we will be joining forces with Destination Shawnee, the Tecumseh Theater and outdoor recreational organizations to bring together runners, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts to the Village of Shawnee. This section of the Buckeye Trail, in the Wayne National Forest, is mostly single-track trail and provides some very challenging terrain.
