Races Near Me: Upcoming Running Races

The local loggers are hard at work which means we get to craft a fresh, surprise route for the 44K race. Weather conditions may change course routes. We will also have excellent 20K (Skate and Classic),10K and Youth only 5K events. The 44K and 20K Skate races will have wave starts. We will upload the 44K and 20K race routes closer to the race date while we see where the logging crew is with the project. Please register online prior to the race. Prices will increase starting December 15, 2026. Race day registration and packet pickup will be available at the Yurt, please bring your phone for easy access to the RunSignup app. We will have outdoor fires for warming up. Post race snacks/beverages will be available at the finish line, free to racers and $5 for spectators. Post-Race Feed/Awards ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm at the Seeley Lake Community Hall located at 3248 Hwy. 83 after the race, racers eat free and $10 for spectators. The Seeley Lake Biathlon, February 6, 2027, is a "citizens biathlon" race.  No prior biathlon experience is required.  Racers must provide their own ski equipment. Seeley Lake Biathlon will supply rifles, targets and ammo.  Racers will experience the thrills and challenges of biathlon. Firearm safety and safe range procedures take priority over race times. All participants must attend a Gun Safety Briefing prior to range practice or race participation.  Safety briefing times for each race listed below.  Racers can register for 3K, 7.5K, or 13.5K (new race distances for the mid-length and long race). Join us at the Seeley Creek Trails for a 1K, 5K and 10K Fun Run. 10K trail run starts at 8am followed by the 5K and 1K. Following the race will be a free pancake breakfast for participants (donation for spectators), an awards ceremony and prize drawings for run participants.  Please join us for this fun family event!
