Join us at the Seeley Creek Trails for a 1K, 5K and 10K Fun Run. 10K trail run starts at 8am followed by the 5K and 1K. Following the race will be a free pancake breakfast for participants (donation for spectators), an awards ceremony and prize drawings for run participants.  Please join us for this fun family event! Nestled among a stunning chain of lakes, Seeley Lake is surrounded by majestic, forested mountains and teeming with incredible wildlife, including moose, elk, wolves, and the elusive Grizzly bear.  Join us for an unforgettable race experience — whether you’re tackling the challenge of a 50K, 25K, Marathon, Half Marathon, or 10K, you'll be mesmerized by the jaw-dropping scenery that surrounds you, all set on the edge of one of the Nation's last wild frontiers.  The race kicks off at the scenic Seeley Creek Ski Trails in Seeley Lake, MT. You’ll run through beautiful ski trails, rugged singletrack, and along Forest Service roads, all while immersed in the raw beauty of the rugged Bob Marshall Wilderness area. No pavement!  Lace up your trail shoes and prepare for an epic journey through fantastic surroundings!

Overview: This is a great race to start your triathlon or duathlon racing career or as a family adventure. The triathlon is in open water, but wet suits are not necessary as the water is a reasonable temperature. Distances for adults is Mini - 150 yds, Short - 300 yards, Long - 600 yards. The running course is mostly on a trail shaded with giant old growth Western Larch trees - 3 miles. The bike ride is on a combination of paved county road, dirt road and trails - 7.8 miles. All racers are chipped including the kids and finish times are immediately available for printing and on devices. Registration: At the venue, Riverpoint Campground Day Use area, from 2-5pm on Friday and 7-8:45 on Saturday. T-shirts will be distributed for those registering before July 15 at these times.  Everyone must park at Pyramid Mountain Lumber. The Seeley Lake Biathlon, February 6, 2027, is a "citizens biathlon" race.  No prior biathlon experience is required.  Racers must provide their own ski equipment. Seeley Lake Biathlon will supply rifles, targets and ammo.  Racers will experience the thrills and challenges of biathlon. Firearm safety and safe range procedures take priority over race times. All participants must attend a Gun Safety Briefing prior to range practice or race participation.  Safety briefing times for each race listed below.  Racers can register for 3K, 7.5K, or 13.5K (new race distances for the mid-length and long race).
