You must OPT IN to be eligible to earn points for the 2026 racing season. You can sign up anytime of the year. Once enrolled, you will start earning points. Points are not retroactive. Anyone who participates in this racing series will be placed in their respective age group based on their actual age on January 1, of that year. Whatever your age on January 1 is your Racing Series age group for the ENTIRE year. This rule only applies to the scoring of the racing series. It does not affect any agegroup awards that are handed out on race day. You can enter as many of the events as you want, but you must have participated in at least 4 events to place first, second or third in the racing series end of year awards. Volunteer requirement: To win an end of year racing series award, you must have volunteered at one MTC event during that year. There are many opportunities to volunteer. Dodging cow patties as you run through cow pasture, into a trail system, along a river, navigate through a wooded section and back to the finish through a big open field. We want to make this a fun gathering of families and friends for years to come. Come and run, hangout, get outside with us for the first year of this race and lets make some fun memories together. The Education Foundation of Sarasota County is proud to host the third annual Ringling Bridge Run — a community tradition across the iconic Ringling Bridge. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or bringing the whole family for the fun run, there’s something for everyone. Participants can choose from the 5K, 10K, or family fun run. Proceeds benefit the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, a nonprofit that supports public school teachers and students in Sarasota County with programs that prepare students to get ready and go further. Everybody has a story. Just listen. You never know what is going on behind their smile. Approximately 22 veterans take their own lives PER DAY. At 22 Too Many, they are committed to increasing public knowledge and awareness of PTS. 22 TOO MANY is also devoted to honoring the memory of the fallen who have been lost to suicide, as well as providing comfort and support to their mourning families. Suicide is not only a military issue. A 2024 National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report, 131.2 U.S. adults died by suicide PER DAY. Please join us in raising money for this amazing charity, our veterans, and others affected by suicide.

The Florida Inline Skating Marathon’s Inaugural event was launched by Founder/President Mike Mason, and an impassioned ensemble of inline skaters, in October 2021. The FISM immediately became the largest skate race in Florida; and of the largest in the nation. The FISM is held at the World Class venue- Nathan Benderson Park, in the charming community of Lakewood Ranch, in sunny, Sarasota, Florida. A variety of race distances offer something for everyone, regardless of age or ability. Not since 2005 had the World Inline Cup (WIC) been represented in the USA, to which the FISM is proud to be an Associated Race. If you are returning, thank you for your past participation! McIntosh Middle School is hosting a one-mile run/ walk in the woods.  After the race participants can join in on the free Fall Festival Fun! The one-mile run is through the beautiful woods around McIntosh Middle School.  Awards will be announced by the DJ and posted on a board by the DJ at the Fall Festival.
