7th Annual Minnesota 5K SCADaddle for Research

SATURDAY, MAY 2, 2026 9:00 AM START TIME Ways to Help Our Cause Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a little known and poorly understood cause of a heart attack. SCAD is the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50, pregnant women & new moms. Although less common, it can affect men too. Research is needed to identify the cause(s) and the best treatment options. SCADaddle 5K Join us by registering for the SCADaddle 5K! Our 5K trail Fun Run/Walk takes place at Battle Creek Regional Park on winding trails through natural areas that offer a spectacular look at Ramsey County's diverse landscape. This event has a community feel with kid's activities and a playground all while shopping the vendors including our SCAD store and enjoying some race snacks. We will also have a brief welcome announcing our sponsors, supporters and survivors! Race bibs will be given out for fun and runners & walkers will be awarded a medal. Race Around the World for Education

Join the Marketing Research Education Foundation (MREF) in the sixth annual Race Around the World and help us raise $65,000! How does it work? During the month of May, participants from all around the world will walk, run, and bike to raise money for a good cause. The race is entirely virtual – participants log their miles online, share photos of the fun, and track their progress on the leaderboard. How do you join? Signup is free, but we hope you'll consider a donation. You can sign up as an individual and join any team you like, or you can sponsor a team to boost our efforts even further. Let's all come together to motivate each other, build community, get moving and do some good!  Who can participate? Anyone and everyone is welcome to join the race! LivSports 24 Hour Adult Hockey Marathon - Minnesota

What is the LivSports 24 Hour Adult Hockey Marathon benefiting LivFree? Here’s how it all works - the event is a continuous game with 60 to 90 skaters playing on two teams in 3 rotating groups based on ability, with a running score from opening puck drop to the final horn. Each player raises $1000 dollars for the cause. LivFree is a pediatric cancer non-profit organization that provides children and their families with moments of joy to take a break from struggle and enjoy some family time together. Whether it's tickets to a game, a Broadway show, or a night out, LivFree is here to help the whole family.  When will this take place and how does it work? The event starts at 12 pm on Saturday, July 18th, 2026, and the final horn will sound at 12 pm on Sunday, July 19th.
