Pedal the Cause, presented by Edward Jones, is thrilled to return September 19-20, 2026, for its seventeenth year of raising critical funds for cancer research at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo.  Whether you sign up to ride, spin, participate virtually, or volunteer, you'll be making a difference in the fight against cancer. As always, 100% of funds raised from Pedal the Cause support cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. To date, Pedal the Cause has donated over $56 million for cancer research.

A unique 5k/10k/Half Marathon in the heart of downtown St. Charles with a little bonus, non-technical, shady trail off of the Katy....truly a hidden gem! Come on out and see for yourself! Enjoy these flat and fast routes starting on the Katy Trail near Bike Stop Cafe and the Katy Depot. All the routes go through Frontier Park then north on the soft path. Beautiful river views! The St. Luke’s New Town Triathlon has become one of the most popular triathlons in the Midwest. Originally a biathlon started many years ago, the event evolved into the John Howard New Town Duathlon, and now in its current format as an ‘almost’ Olympic distance triathlon. This year the distances remain at a .62 mile Swim, 20 mile Bike and a 4 mile Run for the Long Course, and .3 mile Swim, 17 mile Bike and a 2 mile Run for the Sprint Course. The Kid’s Triathlon and EXPO will be held on Saturday, July 11th and the main event will be on Sunday, July 12th, 2026. Set in New Town, St.Charles, the venue is tailor made for a fast race. The flat course profile makes this event the perfect race to open up full bore or try the sport of triathlon for the first time. Click here to join. *** St. Louis Track Club is excited to invite everyone to join the Corps of Discovery Trail Races, held on the Lewis & Clark Trails in the beautiful Weldon Spring Conservation Area on August 29, 2026. Course Description: The half-marathon course covers approximately 13.1 miles and begin from the Lewis & Clark trailhead in the Weldon Spring Conservation Area off Hwy 94 in Defiance, MO. Half marathon participants will first run the 8-mile Lewis Trail and then the 5-mile Clark Trail. The course will travel counter-clockwise and will not be closed to outside use. There will be markings along the course and a volunteer where the trails split. The 5-mile distance will cover one loop of the Clark trail and the 8-mile option will cover one loop of the Lewis trail. The trail winds itself along the bluffs of th

The Wild Boar Challenge is an off road obstacle course designed to push participants through a series of challenges that will test both their speed and agility as they navigate through the course. This is THE LOCAL RACE, that is run by a local organization that will not only raise funds that stay in Iowa, but will also let the participants contribute to design of multiple obstacles. Contributors Breakfast Club is excited to host a fun and challenging event that attracts a wide range of participants from around the midwest.

The Second Annual Backyard Ultra marathon in New Town, Missouri will be held October 10th, 2026. Event registration will start at 7:00 AM, and the race will begin at 8:00 AM. The event will consist of a 4.17 mile loop and runners will have up until the next hour to be back in time to start the next loop. Registration for the event is $25 to cover costs, but to run each loop you must put a dollar into a race jar. The winner of this last person standing race will receive half of the jar, while the other half will be donated to MSMDS charity. If you just want to come run some laps but can’t start at 8:00 AM, we would love to see you come out and try to PR at any hour time slot. (you just won’t be able to win the overall money jar prize.)
