A chip-timed race through beautiful Overpeck Park, Bergan County, on a mostly flat and paved surface with few turns and long straightaways that provide you with incredible views and a lake over a 3.27 mile loop that the HALF MARATHON athletes will complete 4 times and a 3.1 mile loop that 10K athletes will complete 2 times and 5K athletes will complete once....for maximum fan support! Leave your valuables with the race team at the start. Overpeck Park is stunning community park in the heart of Bergan County. Be prepared to experience this place for your first time or umpteenth time on a well marked and supported course. The race will include, water, Gatorade, and power gels, distributed at several points so that you can access these at approximately every mile. Multiple splits provided throughout to assure adherence to the course and provide you and your fans with real-time updates on your progress. Live online tracking so everyone can see your progress on the course and make sure that the Halloween spirit gets you to the finish line. Afterward, pick up your unique runner's jersey and finisher medal, partake in the bountiful morning grub, and celebrate in costume or not with a great awards ceremony. The 5K will be a USATF Grand Prix Series worth 500 points. The Chris Conway Memorial Run & 1 Mile Walk Presented by All Schools Special Needs Join us in honoring the life and legacy of Chris Conway at this special community event. Proceeds benefit All Schools Special Needs, Inc., a nonprofit organization based in Ridgefield Park. Their mission is to provide vital resources—such as physical and medical equipment, educational supplies, technology, field trips, and more—to the special needs population of Ridgefield Park. Many of these opportunities would not normally be attainable due to cost or availability, and we are proud to support this organization that does so much for these children. Our rolling course provides an excellent second half of the race with a downhill finish to the track! Stay after for our post race indoor/outdoor BBQ party offering plenty of refreshments and giveaways! We appreciate your support and look forward to sharing this great day with you all!
