March 28 If you have never done an orienteering/land navigation style of an event you are missing out.These events have been around for lots of years and originated in Scandinavia / Sweden in the 1900's. They have become more and more popular. It's always been a part of adventure races over the years but now there are many stand alone events with different disciplines. Solo's,teams of 2 or 3 are my divisions.Grab a friend or family member and give it a try. A great way to learn terrain and getting around in the woods.
