We’re back from the beyond for the Haunted Hustle 5K & 10K Run/Walk—a fun, costume-themed, non-timed, and family-friendly Halloween tradition! Come dressed for fun, grab your friends, and kick off Halloween with a bang. A prize will be awarded for Best Overall Costume, so get creative! Participation is limited to the first 200 registrants across the 5K and 10K, so don’t wait—this spooky favorite fills fast. Both races feature a course starting at Clarks Creek South in Puyallup, taking participants on a memorable run/walk through the cemetery, with a mix of sidewalks and off-the-beaten-path sections for a hauntingly good time. Are You Ready to Accept the Challenge? Join us on Saturday, July 24, 2027, for the Puyallup Trail Challenge—a true test of endurance, strategy, and determination. Your mission? Complete three 5K trails in the allotted time. You'll have 45 minutes to finish each 5K, followed by 30 minutes to travel to the next park and prepare for the next start. As the day progresses, each trail becomes more challenging, pushing both your physical and mental limits. The challenge is simple: Finish each 5K within the 45-minute time limit. Arrive at the next starting line before the scheduled start time. Miss the cutoff or fail to be at the next start on time, and your challenge ends. Think you have what it takes to conquer all three trails? Participation is limited to 100 registrants, so don't wait to claim your spot.
