2026 Princeton 5K

The Princeton 5K is ready for you in 2025! In its 17th year, the Princeton 5K represents all that is good about community in-person events.  Athletes - young and old, big and small, fast and not as fast - come together year after year to run or walk while generously supporting the Princeton High School Cross Country and Track & Field teams.   The 5K race is an IN-PERSON only event this year on Saturday, March 21. In 2026, we are continuing to offer the KIDS DASH.  A challenging 300m loop for all children under the age of 10 years!  All participants will receive a youth t-shirt to wear with pride.   We hope to see the whole family on race day!

Institute Woods 6K

Institute Woods 6K Come on out for a 6K at the beautiful Institute Woods. The course is on maintained natural-surface trails in the Institute Woods. The event is open to all skill levels, including those who wish to walk the course.   Non-competitive 3K option for paces over 15 minutes per mile. Winter Wonder Run 6K at the Institute WoodsPost-run refreshments provided! Register early.  Field limit 200. Healthy Kids Running Series Spring 2026 - Princeton Junction, NJ

Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. Warrior Walk 2026

Join us for a Walk and 100 Yard Kid's Dash (for children ages 5 and up): Sunday, May 3, 2026. Proceeds benefit YWCA Princeton's Breast Cancer Resource Center in our mission to help women and their families live with, through and beyond breast cancer. The BCRC provides free programs and services such as wigs, fitness classes, nutrition and healthy eating classes, healing arts classes, support groups, financial resources, webinars on various topics related to breast cancer, one on one support, as well as community outreach and education workshops for various organizations all over New Jersey.  Participants will complete the Warrior Walk at their own pace at the Princeton University Track on Sunday, May 3, 2026. Princeton Active Circle is partnering with the Institute of Financial Intelligence (IFI), Where Music Carries Us (WMCU), and the Museum of Chinese In America (MOCA) to host this 5K Run 'n' Walk in Princeton. The Princeton Mile

Come join us on Saturday, June 6th for the 2nd Annual "Princeton Mile" road race! Certified Course!  IL26001NM The race will take place on Princeton’s historic Main Street, starting at the Apollo Theater and ending at Rotary Park, just in time to enjoy live music, food, and drinks at Rotary Club of Princeton's 5th Annual Shrimpfest. The course is a straight line, fully paved city street. If you are looking to set a personal best time for a mile, this would be the place to do it. The course has been certified, and the race will be chip timed. The first race will feature “elite” runners who will be competing for a $1000 prize which will be awarded to the first male and female finisher. Both male and female second place finishers will receive $750 and third place $500. In order to participate in the elite race, male runners must be able to run a mile under 4:30 minutes, and female runners must be able to run a mile under 5:30 minutes.
