13th Annual PHenomenal Hope 5K

The PHenomenal Hope 5K and 1 Mile walk is an annual event to raise funds for research for pulmonary hypertension (PH), a very-rare disease that causes high blood pressure in the lungs and is often terminal.  Now in it's 13th year, we have raised over a half million dollars towards PH research. April 2026 Mileage Challenge for Multiple Sclerosis  The April Mileage Challenge for MS is a virtual movement challenge designed to bring our community together through intentional movement, flexibility and purpose- All while raising awareness and funds for research for Multiple Sclerosis.  This challenge welcomes participants of all levels and encourages consistency over perfection How the Challenge Works  Participants will log miles in one of the following movement categories:  Walk Run Bike Each movement type will have its own group leaderboard, and there will also be an Overall Mileage Winner across all categories.  You may focus on one category or mix your movement- all eligible miles will count towards the overall total .    Mileage Rules (Important)  To keep the challenge fair and intentional:  All miles must be purposeful intentional exercise  Step count only entries are not permitted  Miles must be logged using: A GPS-based tracker (watch, phone app, bike computer)  OR an exer

Avonworth Chase the Antelopes 5k & 1-Mile Walk

Join us for the Eighth Annual "Chase the Antelopes 5k  & One-Mile Walk".  This event will take place at Avonworth Middle School, home of the Antelopes!  The 8th grade class will be organizing this event from start to finish, under the direction of their Civics Teacher and Cross Country Coaches.  Students will be designing the t-shirt, creating unique medals and awards in their Technology Education classes, and contacting local businesses for sponsorship and donations.  All proceeds will benefit the Hannah Milbert Memorial Fund.   See if you can catch the Antelopes on April 25th!  The race will start and end on the high school track with a mostly-flat run through the Avonworth community neighborhoods.     Low entry fee of $20 until March 30th then $25. St. Margaret Foundation Brian Demchak Hope Virtual Challenge

The Brian Demchak Hope Challenge is a fundraiser that you participate in at your convenience with people or pets you enjoy while filling in the gaps with hope for patients and employees at St. Margaret. No crowds, no traffic, no parking, no restroom lines, no 6:00 am alarm. Choose a fitness challenge that works with your routine anytime from May 10 through May 16, 2026. Run, walk, or bike a 5k, challenge yourself to 10 push-ups a day, beat your friends in a pickleball match, you choose! Brian Demchak loved participating in a 5k, and he loved doing it with someone he loved - his mom. Get active and get together to honor Brian and support patients in crisis at UPMC St. Margaret.  The first 200 participants will receive a race shirt and a finisher's medal. Miles 2 Meals 100 Mile Relay

This years 100 mile relay will be held on May 16, 2026. Once registration closes, a list of starting times will be sent out so participants can see what time they will run. The Vision Miles2Meals was created to fight hunger in our local community. By coming together as a community in a fun way, we can give back to our own areas and combat local issues. How It Works Obviously an unusual race format will come with some confusion in regards to sign ups. Here's how it works... You register for the race individually, submitting your prospective mile time and indicating what time of day you are available to run.Teams will run in the same group of 100 people, but will run consecutively, allowing friends/family members to stay together. Dice Dragon Run 5K & 1-mile race

The Dragon Run is BACK!  Join us for a 5K or 1-mile kids' race at Schenley Oval on Sunday, May 24th, @ 9 am to support the Dice XC Team.  Early bird pricing for the 5K  - $25 until May 3rd.  After May 3rd, it is $30 per person.  After May 3rd, there will be no guaranteed t-shirts with registration.1-mile kids race (ages 11 and younger). Starting after the 5K.  $15 early-bird pricing and $20 after May 3rd.  Online registration is until 11:59 PM on Wednesday, May 20th.  After that, you can register on race day from 7:30 am-8:30 am (May 24th).  These late registrations do not include a t-shirt. A Run Through the ‘Woods’ is fun neighborhood road race fundraiser for Hoover Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) in the Mt. Lebanon School District, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The run/walk takes place at the elementary school.  The course goes through the scenic (and hilly) Cedarhurst Manor neighborhood of Mt. Lebanon hitting many of the ‘wood’ named streets.  The event is competitive and fun for all ages and abilities. We offer a 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk, Live Age group awards as well as sponsor filled goodie bags, photographers and water on the course, custom finisher medals, fun raffle baskets, and snacks at the finish line! Medical staff, and a police officer will be on site for the safety of all participants. Hoover Elementary PTA strives to enhance the school experience for all students.  The purpose of this event is to raise money to support educational programs throughout the year.  We thank you for your support!

Come join us on a run (or walk) into Riverview Park via what many are calling the "Wonder of Brighton Heights" and "neat": the new Davis Avenue Bridge (LI'L BRIDGEY)! The event is May 30th, 2026 and begins at the Davis side of li'l bridgey, heads into Riverview park, around the Allegheny observatory and back down to finish where it started.

Brookline Breeze 5K Run & Fitness Walk

The Brookline Breeze is a challenging 5K fitness run/walk on the rolling hills of Brookline, a neighborhood located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 5K course takes runners and walkers from Brookline Memorial Park to the city border with Dormont and back again. The 3.1 mile route follows Brookline Boulevard to Pioneer Avenue, then turns left and proceeds to a turn-around near West Liberty Avenue, then back again. Breeze Day fun begins at 7:30am with packet pickup and pre-race registrations. The first event of the morning is the One-Mile Mini-Breeze for the young ones, followed by the One-mile Dog Walk. The Mini-Breeze course is laid out around the perimeter of Brookline Memorial Park. Then, at 9:00am, it's time for the main event, the 5K run/walk.

The course covers 12 public staircases for a total of over 1,600 steps and provides breathtaking views along the way.
