Rapides Junior Runners Spring Series will host 3 races in February and March for kids aged 3 to 14.  One registration fee of $50 enters the runner into all three spring races.  Various distances are run, depending on the child's age and preference:  3-5 year olds will run 1/2 mile - untimed but will receive a participation medal; 6-14 year olds will choose the preferred distance of 1 mile or 2 miles during the initial registration.    Once registered, racer will run this distance every event.  If the racer chooses to change distances, please email organizers or inform organizers at the registration tent on race morning prior to running.  Two-mile participants will register as individual participants only - no team competitions in the spring season.    Upon individual registration, each participant will receive a bib number.  Please keep the same bib for all 3 races and pin to the front of the racer's shirt - top and bottom.  The racer must have a bib number to participate.  If

Louisiana National Guard R3SP in partnership with Camp Beauregard MWR presents: Fearless Together 5k Join us 12 SEPTEMBER 2026 on Camp Beauregard as we move together to build lasting connections and remind our community that we are stronger, we are Fearless Together. Whether you choose to walk, push your limits in the 5k run, or carry the weight with our 5k ruck, every step we take together honors those we've lost, supports those in need, and reinforces that no one has to walk their path alone. This event is open to •Louisiana National Guard service members • •Louisiana Military Department employees • •LANG retirees and Veterans • •Gold Star Families Members of the public There is a strict 100% ID CHECK on Camp Beauregard- Meaning that ALL participants ages 16 and older MUST show valid ID at the main gate. The 5k ruck, run, and walk will begin and end at the Medical Building on post; I Street Camp Beauregard Pineville, LA 71360 Participant Experience: •5k Ruck has no formal weight requirement and is at participant's discretion. •5K walk is open to all ages and strollers are welcome for a family friendly experience. Kids are welcome to enjoy our "Kid Zone" with parental supervision. No pets are permitted. Racer check in and Wellness expo opens at 7:00 AM, all participants should arrive NLT 7:00 AM. There is no cost for this event but ALL attendees must be preregistered, this includes spectators. Rapides Junior Runners Fall Series provides 4 races in late August thru October for kids aged 3 to Junior High. Various distances are run, depending on the child's age: 3-5 runs a short distance for a Fun Run; 6-11 runs 1 mile; 12-14 will run 2 miles. One -mile participants may register via runsignup.com. No race day registration will be available. One registration is good for the entire season. Registration will open up again the day after each race to accommodate late registrants. Two-mile participants can either register as an individual participant via runsignup.com. If you are participating on a Junior High team, you will register with your Junior High School coach. The course is a true cross-country course, closed to traffic and utilizes the grounds of Ward 9 Sports Complex, 3311 Donahue Ferry Road, Pineville. Upon individual registration, each participant will receive a chipped bib to be kept and re-used at each race. If a runner happens to misplace or forget the bib number on race morning, replacement bib numbers will be available for purchase at the race venue for a cost of $10. Every one mile and Fun Run finisher will receive a medal at the finish line each race. Awards will be presented following the conclusion of the 1 mile race and will include male and female top three for each age category: male and female - 6 years male and female - 7 years male and female - 8 years male and female - 9 years male and female - 10 years male and female - 11 years Two mile team competitors will receive team awards. This race will require an additional $15 registration - optional.

Red Wagons are all around the St. Jude Hospital. These vehicles offer fun, hope, and transportation. St. Jude's philosophy is centered on tending to the patient's emotional and physical well-being. They feel that because cancer is a dark journey, there should be moments of joy. So, let's roll! Bring your wagons out for this fun event. Pull the kids or pets. It's going to be an event filled with joy! Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration will be on Saturday, September 26, from 7:00 - 7:45 am at the Louisiana Athletic Club in Pineville, LA. 1 Mile Wagon Pull begins at 8:00 am, and the 5K will follow shortly after. Race Day Awards for Top 3 Male and Female Participants. 1st 125 participants are guaranteed finisher's medals.

We are hosting a 5K & 1 Mile Run at Fort Randolph State Historic Park to mobilize community involvement in the foster care system. Our goal is to support children in foster care and raise awareness for the needs of the foster care system. Join us in the challenging Louisiana National Guard Norwegian Foot March on 12 DEC 2026. The Norwegian Foot March originated in 1915 as an endurance test for soldiers in the Norwegian Army. It has since been adopted at several U.S. military installations. Completion demonstrates physical endurance, mental toughness, and military readiness. The march requires participants to complete a 30-kilometer / 18.64-mile course while carrying a rucksack with a dry weight of at least 25 pounds, weighed both before and after finishing. Time requirements for completion vary by age and gender and determine eligibility for the Norwegian Foot March badge. A minimum of three water points will be used along the route. Participants are welcome to carry personal water supply. Please note that participants may only complete one march per calendar year as it pertains to earning a Norwegian Foot March badge.
