Date: Saturday, April 11, 2026 Time: 8:00am Location: Halleck Park, Papillion Catch the wave and join us for the first annual Omaha Surf Wave Run 5k - a fun, family-friendly charity run in support of the Omaha Surf Soccer Club! Lace up your shoes and enjoy a scenic course around the Halleck Park and Papio Trail as we come together to support youth athletics in our community.  Every registration includes a race shirt, a finisher medal, and post-run snacks. There will be a running clock at the finish line, but please note that this event will not have official chip timing - it's all about fun, fitness, and community spirit! All proceeds from the Omaha Surf Wave Run 5k will go directly to the Omaha Surf Soccer Club's financial assistance fund, helping young athletes gain access to the game they love regardless of financial barriers.  Come run, walk, jog, or ruck - and make some waves for a great cause!

The Café & Cacao fun run is to help support the work of Chronic Care International (CCI) which is a non-profit organization that helps people living with both poverty and chronic diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure.  CCI works with patients in Omaha, the Dominican Republic, and the Philippines who suffer from these diseases. Their goal is to help every community save the lives of those who suffer from chronic diseases.

Join us at Nebraska’s running celebration of summer. This 10K race is just about as Nebraska as it gets!
