OCAPL Members, Family and Friends- Come enjoy some fall family fun at the Wheeler Ferris Wheel on Sunday October 25th. Festivities begin at 12:30 pm and registration includes face painting, pumpkin painting, lawn games, bounce house, food trucks, beer truck and more! First 200 registered participants will receive vouchers for food trucks (valid 10-25-26 only), wrist band for free beer (if 21+ years old), event t-shirt, entry into raffle, swag bag, plus additional items. Red Coyote is excited to announce the Fall/Winter 2026 Go Farther 10K Program starting Tuesday, October 27th and leading up to the Merry Mitchmas 5k/10k on Saturday, December 19th! Red Coyote Training Programs are FREE to people of all abilities (run or walk) to help get the community moving, stay motivated and achieve their personal goals. REGISTRATION & COST Our program is FREE this season! When you register, you'll have the option to purchase a Training Program shirt for $20.00. These shirts will be available to pick up about halfway through the program and we'll notify you when they are printed and ready. Red Coyote will only order the amount pre-purchased so if you'd like one, order at this time, they won't be for sale at a later date. We may have some people who participate from out of town virtually. If you'd like your shirt mailed to you, we're happy to do so for a $10.00 shipping fee. Any shirts that haven't been picked up 14 days after the program concludes will be donated to one of our charity partners. All participants will receive the official handbook and schedule through email and then ALL other communication will go through a private Facebook group that Red Coyote has created. There will be several special guest Pack Coaches to help you on your journey to 6.2 miles! SCHEDULE There are 2 coached runs each week, Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm as well as Saturday mornings at 7:00am. Join the Joe Warfield Memorial Foundation as we celebrate the life of one of Oklahoma City's favorite runners. The Joltin' Joe 5k is family-friend, community event intended to raise awareness about distracted driving and create a movement for change. The National Safety Council reports that on a typical day, more than 700 people are injured in distracted driving crashes. Over the course of a year, 42,000 indivudals are killed on American streets. It doesn't have to be this way! Talking on a cell phone – even hands-free – or texting or programming an in-vehicle infotainment system diverts your attention away from driving. Keeping EVERYONE on the road safe is our goal. Your participation and support allows us to invest in initiatives and education to help eliminate these dangers and save lives. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. THE KILGORE HALF *Also known as THE RUN FOR THE DEPLOYED* THE HISTORY OF THE CHRISTMAS EVE RUN In 2009 Scott was deployed over Christmas. On Christmas Eve of that year he told me he was going to run a half marathon. When I asked him why, he said, because he was deployed and not able to be at home. The following year on a training run for a half marathon he and I were running together, he tells me he was going to do the same thing he did the year prior on Christmas Eve but from home this time. Knowing how our Oklahoma running community responds to a good cause and GOOD TIMES, we invited the Oklahoma City Southside Running Club to join us.In 2010, our first year as hosts, we had 24 runners. Our second year we grew to 43 runners. Our last year as hosts (2012) in 11 degree temps, we had our best showing yet. 60 runners came to our home ready to run!!!!!Since our move from OKC, we have hosted an event in Virginia Beach (in 2013), and our good friend Stacey Brown offered to carry on the trad

The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy hopes you join us for the 14th annual Adrenaline Run 5K/10K! We will be hosting the 16th annual “Half Marathon”, 10k, and 5k run/walk in recognition and remembrance of the nineteen brothers and one sister from its ranks who made the ultimate sacrifice since September 11, 2001.  The race course is located in Oklahoma City, OK, at the OKC river trail, to facilitate a larger participant population.  The twenty fallen heroes will be honored individually with recognition beginning at the Starting Line, then at each mile marker along the 13.1-mile course, and finally at the finish line.  A banner will be placed at each of the 15 points highlighting one of the warriors with a photo and a brief bio detailing their lives and sacrifices. *This is not a sanctioned race.*

Ahoy, mateys! Hoist the colors and join us for the Talk Pirate to Me 5K/10K/Half Marathon, a swashbuckling adventure on the run celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day all month long. Whether you're a seasoned captain or a landlubber just looking for some fun, gather your crew and set sail for a race filled with pirate spirit, treasure, and plenty of "Arrr's!" Choose your quest—5K, 10K, or Half Marathon—and chart your course to the finish line. Every buccaneer who successfully walks the plank and crosses the finish line will earn a custom finisher medal worthy of any pirate's treasure chest. We're headed to the Lake Stanely Draper in Oklahoma City, OK for an 8:00 am start, and hitting the trail to celebrate the pirate in you. Come out dressed in your favorite pirate garb (and some running shoes), and we'll hit the trail instead of walking the plank. Awards will be presented in all three distances to the top three male and female finishers in our traditional five-year age groups, giving pirates of all ages a chance to claim their share of the booty. The DSACO Festival & 5K will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK. Join us and help celebrate the extra 21st chromosome by creating a team, walking or running for acceptance and inclusion. The event is free and open to the public. The 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run begins at 8 a.m at the Myriad Botanical Gardens, start line is on Sheridan Avenue. The Awareness Walk will line up at the start line on Sheridan Avenue at 9:45 a.m. Immediately following the awareness walk, join us on the Great Lawn at the Myriad Botanical Gardens for festival activities, which include raffles, inflatables, face painters, carnival games, music, talent shows, cotton candy, food trucks, and much more. There will also be resource vendors available to answer any questions or provide additional information.
