NRMC Foundation 6th annual Steel Magnolia 5k & 1 mile walk/ run!   Start times: 8:00 a.m. - 1 mile Fun Run/ Walk 8:45 a.m. - 5k   Location: Natchitoches Riverbank   Swag Bag Pick-up: Friday, March 20th from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at 111 East 5th Street. NRMC Human Resource Building. We are excited to announce the 14th Annual 5K run/walk benefiting the Women's Resource Center through the beautiful downtown Natchitoches riverbank area. The Run, Baby, Run! 5K and Fun Run gathers participants from across the state for a lively morning jog in the Historic District of Natchitoches. This 5K Run serves as an awareness run and a fundraiser for the Women's Resource Center of Natchitoches. The Women’s Resource Center stands as a cornerstone in our community, tirelessly offering resources to local families, including free and confidential pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, prenatal education, emotional support, and material assistance. The event's proceeds contribute to operational costs, ensuring the continued delivery of vital services to the Natchitoches community and surrounding areas. Services are 100% free and confidential regardless of insurance and/or income status. This year's run will be on the same day as the Natchitoches Jazz Festival.  The Natchitoches

Every child needs a hero, but abused children need superheroes!! Saturday, November 7, 2026 8:00 a.m. Downtown Natchitoches Riverbank Fun Run, & Walk - 8:00 a.m. 5k - 8:15 a.m. Registration: Early Registration is $30 through October 22nd. $35.00 October 23rd – November 6th. Race Day Registration is $40. You may pay with cash, or credit card at CASA of Central LA 1200 Keyser Ave., Natchitoches, LA. Learn more about CASA at www.casanat.org REGISTER EARLY! No shirts are guaranteed for late registrants. T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up: Every pre-registered participant through Oct. 22nd will receive a “CASA Superhero Run” t-shirt with swag bag. Packet pick-up will be held at CASA of Central LA office 1200 Keyser Ave. Natchitoches Friday, November 6th from 9 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site at 7:00 am. Awards: Overall Male & Female finishers in the 5k race will receive award. Additionally, 1st and 2nd place age group winners in the 5k will receive a medal. Age Groups: 14- under,15-19,20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ Also Best group and individual costume awards. Post Party: Stick around after the race for snacks.

This night-time race will be entirely lit with the famous Natchitoches Christmas lights! Route starts in front of the riverbank stage, runs south past Santa Clause Lane, turns west on Amulet, north on 2nd Street, and east on Lafayette which will run back down to the riverbank. 1 of these laps will be the Fun Run. 3 laps will complete the 5k. 💚 In Honor of our Dad, Charles Bonds a Natchitoches Louisiana Native and Vietnam Veteran This race is held in honor of Charles Bonds, whose journey with kidney disease inspired us to raise awareness and support others facing similar battles. Charles received incredible care during his kidney journey, including dialysis and home treatment education that gave him strength and independence. This event is a way to honor his legacy and bring the community together for a meaningful cause. A portion of proceeds will be donated to support kidney disease awareness and local patient care. Run, walk, or cheer—every step helps honor his story.
