Paczki 5K Dash Run/Walk Packet Pickup: Day of the Race at Heritage Landing beginning at 7:30 am & Day before 4/24 @ Betten Chevrolet, 3-6 pm, 2474 Henry St, Muskegon, MI  49441, in the Cadillac Showroom.   Muskegon Polish Festival - the crew that brings pierogi, polka, and paczki joy every Labor Day - is launching its 1st Annual Paczki 5K Dash!  The dash is chip timed by Runner's Edge Race Timing, follows Muskegon's beautiful Lakeshore Trail, measured by Ron Knoll, and enjoys the support of Muskegon Run Club.  EVERY finisher will receive a completion certificate in the form of a race Free entry to the Muskegon Polish Festival, a PACZKI, and refreshments.  Every step helps keep the Muskegon Polish Festival thriving and fuels its support of local nonprofits and community organizations.  Runners aren't just chasing pastries-they're helping preserve Polish heritage ad giving back to Muskegon in a meaningful way.  *Please remember, registrations are final, and we won

The lakeshore’s premiere 5k adventure run returns to Pere Marquette Beach on May 16, 2026, with new obstacles but the same mission: helping people to overcome life’s obstacles. Each registered participant receives a short-sleeved, moisture-wicking t-shirt. Your ticket purchase directly feeds the hungry and shelters the homeless; 100% of the proceeds support Muskegon Rescue Mission’s food pantry and homeless shelters. 1st Annual Crusader Cross Country Classic Location: Muskegon Catholic Central Monsignor Kehren Stadium     (Use entrances on Barclay St as the entrances on Laketon will be closed) 8:15 am – High School Boys 9:00 am – High School Girls 9:45 am – Alumni & Community Race   Alumni & Community Race:   Open to all.  Registration is on RunSignUp  Entry Fee: Registration is $25 until August 21 (price goes up to $30 on race day)  Race proceeds support the Cross Country and Track & Field programs at MCC. Join us at the stunning Pere Marquette Park along Lake Michigan for this milestone event benefiting the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI)! For more than a century, ABVI has helped individuals with low vision or blindness thrive in a sighted world. Each year, we serve nearly 1,000 children and adults from across Michigan - empowering independence, confidence, and community through vision rehabilitation and support services. Bear Lake Tavern's 2nd Annual 5k Run/Walk for Brain Aneurysm Awareness Join us for a morning for fitness, fun and community all for a great cause. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 26, 2026. Bear Lake Tavern is hosting it's 2nd annual 5K run/walk for brain aneurysm awareness. The race will kick off at 11:30am with packet pick up and on site registration starting at 10am up-until the race begins at 11:30am. This mostly  flat, scenic out and back course along Muskegon Lake is open to runners and walkers of every level. Brain aneurysms affect an estimated 1 in 50 people in U.S. and nearly 30,000 individuals each year suffer a rupture, which is often life threatening. By joining in this event, you are helping raise awareness and funds to support the Brain Aneurysm Foundation's mission of education, research, and support for those impacted.
