Races Near Me: Upcoming Running Races

We're getting ready for the 14th Annual Renfro Rock 'N Run Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk! The Renfro Rock 'N Run Half Marathon has a tradition of being one of Kentucky’s most unique and fun races. Renfro Valley, Kentucky, home of the world-famous entertainment center and the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, is known for its music, from Bluegrass to classic country to rock. Rockcastle County is home to rock-solid, enthusiastic folks who like to run and dare you to keep up. At the Rock 'N Run, they share the road, and their countryside, with you. You’ll dash past rustic cabins, trot alongside a beautiful lake, and pass through some of Kentucky’s prettiest farmscapes. And this year, we invite you to don your best 80s music costume - think Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, Def Leppard, Reba McEntire. It's all part of the fun! The Renfro Rock 'N Run is part of the Rockcastle Regional Countywide Stride run/walk series, and national Program of Excellence Award winner. So,

The Bay View Women’s Run is a beloved Skagit County tradition returning for its milestone 40th year, Saturday May 15th, reviving a community tradition that celebrates movement, connection, and resilience. Featuring 2 Mile, 5K, and 10K distances, this event brings together runners, families, and community partners to support survivors and strengthen access to critical services across our region. Early registrations are encouraged with early bird discounts in effect. Join us in bringing this meaningful tradition back to life. Whether you're joining us for the 2-Mile, 5K, or 10K, you'll be treated to some of the most beautiful scenery in Skagit County. The 2-Mile and 5K races are run entirely on paved roads. The 10K adds a unique mixed-terrain experience, with nearly half the course following a flat, packed gravel trail along the waterfront. The wide trail offers plenty of space for runners to take in the majestic Bay View views while enjoying a smooth, comfortable surface. Race is managed by Skagit Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services and supported by Skagit Runners - Run the Valley. Questions? Please contact Jen: jenh@skagitdvsas.org.
