Camp Māk-A-Dream is a 501c3 non-profit organization that relies on funds donated - and raised - by generous individuals. Many people who have either been a participant or volunteer in the past, experienced cancer in their own lives, or find fulfillment through helping others contribute towards making Camp's cost-free programs possible by raising funds for our organization. Camp Māk-A-Dream is located in western Montana but draws participants and volunteers from all across the U.S. and even abroad. Since opening its doors in 1995, Camp has welcomed over 10,000 individuals diagnosed with, or affected by, cancer. Each week of camp is provided cost-free to participants and relies in great part to the generous support of invididual donors like YOU! 2026 Missoula Beer Mile Series - Q1 Edition

Back for 2026 by unpopular demand, the Missoula Beer Mile returns!  Do you make bad choices? Are you maybe susceptible to peer pressure? Have you never understood why Tuesday Track is not also a Thirsty Thursday? If that sounds like you, you should come out to the Missoula Beer Mile! With official timing and scoring via FinishLynx - the same system used at the legendary Hayward Field - but run on a dirt track to keep things fitting for a race in Montana.  The festivities will start at 6:45, with races starting at 7:00 or whenever the race director thinks it's time to start. Then for folks who are still standing, a trip to Flippers for Rainiers on the race director.  Stick around after the mile for a cigarette 400 - run one lap all out while finishing a cigarette of choice in memory of Koby Pederson. This event is a community run/walk organized by Murdered and Missing Indigenous Peoples (MMIP) and Montana 4 Palestine (MT4P) organizers to promote solidarity, awareness, and advocacy.   Join MMIP and MT4P for an interactive and educational 5k that will invite participants to see the overlapping and ongoing histories of violence in both Turtle Island (the United States) and Palestine. This inclusive event invites participants of all backgrounds to run, walk, bike, and move together. Proceeds go directly to families in MT and Gaza. The run is a celebration of community, justice, and the power of collective action. This event is free to the public but we are asking for donations that will go directly to survivors of colonial violence in Montana and Palestine. Send & Ascend Skills Clinic

We're excited to continue to bring you this popular clinic for women and non-binary individuals with options beginner, intermediate, advanced, and adaptive riders. For 2026, we are holding the clinic over two days. Day 1, Saturday May 9, will offer all levels from Beginner to Advanced Tech Descending. Day 2, Sunday May 10, will the same clinics as Sat. plus Intro to Air. The clinic is hosted at Marshall Mountain; beginner and intermediate riders will start in the morning with some skills at the base area with some coffee and snacks--and will head onto the trails after lunch to work on using those skills on single track. Marshall Mountain Revival Trail Runs

Join us this May for the second Annual Marshall Mountain Revival! Marshall Mountain has long been a hub for outdoor adventure in Missoula, and the Marshall Mountain Revival is a way to honor its legacy and create a new springtime tradition. Missoula County has been hard at work building new trails at Marshall, and our looped courses do their best to showcase these offerings. Looking for a team event? Grab your friends and sign up for the Revival 25k relay! With 2-3 person teams, each team must complete all three of our 5 mile loops, then finish with a mini "victory lap" around the half-mile Local Glory Trail. Prefer to go alone? The beautiful loop course will start and finish in the Snowbowl base area. The 9.3 mile course will climb for 4.65 miles on a mixture of dirt and double track roads. You will reach the top of the climb, and the only aid station on the course, at the top of Grizzly Chair. From there you will enjoy a beautiful 4.65 mile descent down the popular stretch of single track in the ski area, known as Beargrass Highway. This trail will bring you all the way back to the base area and finish line. This unique trail race starts and finishes near Missoula’s University District and features multiple mountain summits totaling 8,000+ feet of vertical elevation and exploring many of Missoula’s iconic open space and conservation lands circumnavigating the Pattee Creek Watershed. It highlights the best of Missoula’s open space and urban recreation areas and boasts less than two miles of pavement.
