Take the Leap at Walnut Beach! Join the brave, warm-hearted souls who will Leap for Literacy. Leapers from around the area are invited to run, jump or dive into the chilly waters at Walnut Beach to help raise money to support Literacy Volunteers of Southern Connecticut. Registration Fee: $20 for adults and $10 for students, includes a giveaway for each Leaper. Walk-ins are welcome, but we can't guarantee a giveaway. Prove It 5K & 10K – GM Milford Proving Ground April 18, 2026 – Milford, Michigan Looking for a Michigan spring 5K or 10K that’s unlike anything else? Prove It 5K & 10K gives you exclusive access to the GM Milford Proving Ground, one of the most iconic and secretive automotive testing facilities in the world. Normally closed to the public, this track opens just one day each year for runners and walkers to take on its twists, hills, and high-performance curves. This isn’t your typical local race. The 5K packs 225′ of elevation gain in one lap of the course. The 10K doubles the challenge with two laps and 450′ of gain. Celebrate all things Michigan with a Half Marathon, 10K or 5K run/walk. Races start and finish in Milford and run along the Milford Kensington Trail and the back roads of Milford.  Additional details can be found here!

Join us in the wilderness area for this fun and unique 5K. Instead of funning on the road (besides a short section to get into the wilderness area), this 5K takes place on the trails of the wilderness area and Camp Mack. During the race, we will see some cool stuff along the way: the challenge course, archery range (don't worry, no one will be shooting), 5 points, the big field, grandfather oak, the prairie, and end with two laps around the auditorium.  After we are done running, you can join us in the dining hall for our famous cinnamon toast breakfast (included in your registration). For over thirty years the Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus has hosted a Mother's Day Run and Walk to promote wellness and health. Welcome to the Milford Rotary, Run in the Park, 5K - a Trail Run/Walk/Hike. Enjoy this adventure, with the whole family (including your dog), or a team, in Milford's beautiful Eisenhower Park and help support the Milford Rotary and Beth-El Center for the homeless!  The Milford Rotary raises money for the local community, people in need and college scholarships. The course is a High School Cross Country course and is for all abilities of runners, walkers and hikers. Mostly flat, some rolling hills and scenic! The course starts and finishes in Eisenhower Park. You can run fast, or slow or walk, comfortably, at any pace. Enjoy!  T-Shirts are guaranteed to the first 100 adults.

The proceeds and donations of this event fund scholarships given to Milford High School Seniors, donations to local charities, and allow us to host the Kid's Track Summer Series! This is a free weekly track meet for kids hosted by the Milford Road Runners. The Milford Road Runners is a 501(c)(3) organization.
