GLOW is a fundraising event that patients and families with Galactosemia look forward to every year! We try to inspire hope and connection between families and individuals. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, brace

Location: Gold's Gym Time: 8:00am - Weigh in start            9:00am - Competitions start ***The number of participants will be capped at 150***   Details:An athlete can sign up for one or both events (Bench, Squat, Deadlift 1 rep max or Bench, Squat, Deadlift reps until failure of bodyweight). Each event will be $45. Each athlete will select a weight class online prior to the event. The athletes will be weighted on the day of the event to verify their weight class. If they are over their selected weight class, they will be move into the appropriate weight class for the competition.  Athletes should be onsite and ready for weigh in promptly at 08:00 am.  There will be a men’s and women’s category along with the weight categories Singlets are highly recommended but are not mandatory.  This event will be similar to a RAW powerlifting meet. Clover Hill Elementary, Swift Creek Elementary, and Woolridge Elementary have joined forces again to have the Reservoir Color Run on Sunday, April 26, 2026. This event includes a 1 Mile Run at 2:00 PM. This year, each participant will receive a t-shirt and medal with sign up if registered before April 6, 2026. After this date and until the race, you can still register, but you will not receive a t-shirt and we cannot guarantee a medal. There will be a limited number of registrations available this year. Register early! We hope you will be a part of it! The purpose of this race is not only to bring together three neighboring school communities, but to also raise money for each school. This money will allow the schools to further enhance school enrichment with items such as new technology and equipment, health and wellness programs, staff conference sponsorships, and children’s engineering programs, which will benefit students and teachers alike. The VA Super Tri is a fun, unique spin on the traditional sprint triathlon.  We took a sprint triathlon and broke it up into five mini triathlons (125m swim – 2.4mi bike – 1k run) which are completed back-to-back.   Youth Participants:  Youth will have their own race and complete just two loops of the same course.   Relay Participants:  Each relay team member will alternate running loops. One participant will complete a loop, then pass off to the next team member, who will complete the next loop. This pattern continues until all five loops are completed. This is a great way for a new triathlete to get the experience of five triathlons in one with multiple transitions, and the experienced triathlete to challenge themselves with something new!  Plus, the entire event is super spectator friendly with athletes never further than 1 mile away.

The Brandermill 7.4k is a fun race from Clover Hill High School through the neighborhoods of Brandermill and back. 4.59-ish miles of beautiful scenery and 4th of July fun!   Come run with us and celebrate Independence Day, then stroll (or run some more!) over to the parade route for the Brandermill 4th of July Parade! All race proceeds will benefit Connor’s Heroes, a local pediatric non-profit assisting children and their families during cancer treatment. They directly address needs with gas cards, parking vouchers, cleaning services, shopping assistance, babysitting, companionship, and more. No child or family should face cancer treatment alone.

Staged at the Robious Landing Park in Chesterfield, VA, this event consists of three separate events: A non-draft sprint triathlon/duathlon, a youth triathlon/duathlon, and an NCAA Draft-Legal Collegiate Cup.  With the iconic river swim and beautiful bike and run course, you do not want to miss this exciting race.
