Rise and Shine 5K Run/Walk Date: April 4, 2026 Location: Meadow Ridge Metro Park -  South Entrance About the race: Rise and Shine 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser is more than a race but will be an experience for runners to run with a purpose.  The day before Easter was chosen specifically so that Christ can be glorified and the gospel can be shared.  Rise and Shine will start and end with prayer and offer for those desiring, a biblical message on the resurrected Jesus.  We will have a 200 meter dash for children 10 and under after the 5K.  We would like to serve a meal that brings one’s mind to think about The Last Supper.  We will supply drinks in a small boat that we will label Peter’s boat but instead of fish, it will be filled with drinks!  Luke 5:1-11 Our vision goes much deeper than our building repairs, but that God has no boundaries, and we can share the word of God anywhere. April 18, 2026. Kara's Mutt Strutt 5k Run/Walk A race to honor Kara Goheen, A true champion of all four legged friends. Proceeds from this event will go to the Kara Goheen's Friends and Furballs Fund, that will be used to keep her Dog Days Downtown Festival going, along with other "pet" projects that benefit Middletown animals. This race has gone to the dogs!All awards will be reserved for our four legged friends. Welcome back to the Makin' Hay 10K & 5K!  We can't wait to have you claim bragging rights after conquering one of these challenging but scenic courses on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This run/walk is in memory of Dan Rankin who was tragically hit and killed on Jan 24, 2024 by an impaired driver while out on a run training for a Spartan 50k race. Dan was married to his high school sweetheart and they have 4 beautiful children. He lived a very full life with no regrets. He was an entrepreneur at heart and always ready to lend a helping hand.   All proceeds will go to Delaware Wrestling Alliance.
