The event is being organized by the Knights of Columbus Council #16365 and will benefit the organizations they support. Annual Run For Your Life! Free Halloween Group Run with the our Run Club! Wednesday, October 28th 6:30pm-8:30pm Sunset Park 2698 Milton Rd, Middletown, OH 45042 5k and scavenger hunt! Run/Walk Run through Middletown neighborhoods with your favorite Middletown run club to see the awesome local Halloween displays! This is not a race, just a group run with our run club. It is open to the public! So even if you are not in our run club, come join us for some Halloween fun! 5k: We will have turn by turn directions to pass out to everyone doing the 5k, and there will be chalk arrows on the ground. This is a very casual running/walking tour of some of the best halloween displays in Middletown Ohio! We encourage you to take a selfie with the displays and tag us in a post on Facebook or Instagram! We will share your photos on the event page! Scavenger Hunt: This year we are changing the challenge up a little! We will be picking the top 5 Halloween displays in all of Middletown. To complete the challenge you must visit every display we have marked on the map. These will be spread out in different Middletown Neighborhoods. We will have the house addresses, you can use your phone to look them up, but NO turn by turn directions or arrow markings. Just take a selfie with each display and show us your strava/tracker app when you are done. (Note the scavenger hunt could be upwards of 8-10 miles depending on how you run it!) Prizes: Anyone who completes the Scavenger Hunt Challenge will get a special prize! The fastest challenge time will win a trophy. Shirts: Shirts must be pre-ordered by October 10th. (Run club members who have filled out their membership cards at least once this year will receive a complimentary shirt, but must give Kenzie your size before the cutoff date) Preordered shirts will be available only the night of the run at Sunset Park for pick up!

Come on, let's Turkey Trot! The Community Building Institute - Middletown's fifth annual Turkey Trot in Middletown Ohio, is on Nov 14th at Triple Moon Coffee Company. 10:00am start time. Gates open at 8:30am. Description: Proceeds from this fundraiser support CBI's birth-to-five, out-of-school enrichment, workforce development, and family engagement programs as well as the Robert 'Sonny' Hill Community Center. Your registration comes with a bib to participate in the race, a swag bag, a t-shirt (if registered by 10/28), a participation medal, and a discount at Triple Moon Coffee Company. Youth tickets do not come with a shirt. Shirts only come in adult sizes and can be added to a youth registration for an additional $10. Compete as an individual or with your business as a corporate team. Categorized prizes will be awarded to solo runners and a traveling trophy will be awarded to the corporate team with the lowest average runtime. The first three male runners and the first three female runners to cross the finish line will receive cash prizes. 5K/3.1-mile course starts on Broad Street. Parking will be available in the adjacent bus station parking lot and restaurant parking. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. Pricing tiers: Early Bird (8/26 - 9/13): $25 Tier 2 (9/14 - 10/14): $30 Tier 3 (10/15 - 11/14): $35 T-shirt deadline: The deadline to ensure you receive a race t-shirt is Wednesday, October 28th, 2026. Extra shirts will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis as participants cross the finish line, with priority given to those who missed the deadline. Early check in: Friday November 13th, registrants can check in and collect race materials early inside Triple Moon Coffee Company from 5pm-8pm. If you won't be checking in early, be sure to get to the race by 9:45AM to be assigned a bib and lineup at the start line by the 10AM start time. Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place female and male prize winners can expect cash prizes ($300, $200, and $100 respectively) and gift cards. This run/walk is in memory of Dan Rankin who was tragically hit and killed on Jan 24, 2024 by an impaired driver while out on a run training for a Spartan 50k race. Dan was married to his high school sweetheart and they have 4 beautiful children. He lived a very full life with no regrets. He was an entrepreneur at heart and always ready to lend a helping hand.   All proceeds will go to Delaware Wrestling Alliance.

Proceeds benefit the Middletown Area Historical Society's mission to COLLECT, PRESERVE & TEACH about the great history of Middletown, PA Dauphin County and the surrounding area. Are you FAST? As in you are standing between a herd of reindeer and carrots and have to run for your life? Are you FESTIVE? As in the only one that dresses up for holidays at your office/school? Are you GIVING? As in in you always ask others if they want the last piece of cake before you take it? Of course, this list could go on - do you enjoy competition, camaraderie, fun, food, and jolly time? If you answered YES to ANY of these questions, this is the race for you! The long 'running', Jingle Jog race since the 80s, started off simply as a holiday season fun run. Through the years it became more popular and also competitive as it also became the final race of the Orange Runners Club Grand Prix race series and the club's running calendar year. This year, we are USATF-sanctioned and are giving away a long-sleeve thermal shirt to the first 120 registrants! The Jingle Jog has been held in several different locations around the area with various distances and courses. What they all have in common is the holiday flavor with seasonal costumes welcomed and a warm post-race environment with food and drink. In addition, as a timed race and part of the Grand Prix, it is also the last opportunity to pick up more points for the year! However, the best reason to come out and participate is to simply enjoy the holiday season with our running community and friends as the year closes out. This year, all proceeds will go back to the Orange County community by way of the ORC Scholarship and the Sole Purpose shoe campaign! Middletown's 6th annual running of the Santa's! 12/12/26 Santa run has a new home! The Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum near Downtown Middletown! 1401 Woodside Blvd, Middletown, OH 45044 Holiday Fun: Every participant will receive a Santa hat, unique keepsake Christmas ornament, a sweet treat and a "Hot Drink" ticket from the coffee Truck! Focusing on physical fitness, participants are invited to run, ruck, ride, roll or walk their way through their community. Honoring the founding location of Vet Fest, Whitehall Delaware will still host the annual event with participants from around the country invited to join in nationally where they are.
