This exciting community event is the perfect way to support the talented students of the Poteet Pirate Band while enjoying a morning of fitness and fun. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just looking to cheer on participants, there’s something for everyone. Expect lively music, energetic vibes, and plenty of Pirate pride along the route! All proceeds from the Fun Run will go directly to the Poteet Pirate Band, helping fund instruments, uniforms, travel expenses, and performance opportunities. The Rodeo Road Rally is back on June 6, 2026. With 4 distances to choose from, we've got you covered! Routes are ~17, 29, 54 and 64.    After finishing the ride, enjoy a great lunch provided by Whataburger of Mesquite that is included free with your registration.  You'll be able to eat it in Hanby Stadium.  The Annual Rodeo Road Rally event is the Rotary Club of Mesquite's flagship fundraiser program. The rally brings in 850+ riders of all ages from across Texas and other states. The club was able to give back more than $35,000 to the community through scholarships to local high school students, and donations to the Mesquite ISD Education Foundation, Sharing Life Community Outreach, Addressing Mesquite Day, and a number of other local groups. In addition, the cost for student leaders to attend Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awakening), a week-long leadership camp for emerging high school leaders is covered.
