November 7, 2026 The Mighty Heros 5K is a race to benefit Mighty Hero Homes an organization dedicated to eliminating Veteran Homelessness, because THEY DESERVE BETTER! The race will be a wonderful run in McDonough, GA, Henry County through the Lake Dow and Lake Dow Estates communities. All proceeds from the race will go directly to Mighty Hero Homes. Henry County is the scheduled location for the first Mighty Hero Community construction. All proceeds from this race will go to Mighty Hero Homes Organization. Event also promotes health in the community. This is the second annual event.  Every race will be dedicated to a Veteran. We are now accepting Veteran nominations for the 2026 race. One $30 registration includes TWO interlocking Sole Sisters finisher medals and TWO coordinating race bibs. Do we have to run together? Not at all! You can complete your races together or separately, even if you live hundreds of miles apart. Can we choose different distances? Absolutely! Each participant can choose her own distance. When do we have to complete the race? ANYTIME! There is no required race date or completion deadline. Can we walk instead of run? Of course! Walkers, joggers, hikers, and runners of all experience levels are welcome. Will the medals ship separately? No. Both medals and race bibs ship together to one address. What is a Virtual Race? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose.
