Races Near Me: Upcoming Running Races

Our community is the only city in the nation to follow the old tradition of ringing bells throughout the town in the early morning hours of Veteran’s Day. This race will mimic some of those old traditions to honor our nation's veteran community. We are honored to be part of this event and look forward to the engagement of the families in Loveland. This event benefits Post 2000, which is created a Loveland Colorado Veteran's Assistance program.

This 2-Mile Fun Run is created for the girls in the BSBF program. Parents and coaches are allowed to join them in the fun! The run will begin at 9am.

There’s a new challenge waiting on the trail. The Lone Tree Reckoning Trail Half & 5K is your chance to trade pavement for dirt, take in the scenery, and find out what the trail has in store for you. Don’t let the views fool you—this course has some personality. Expect a mix of runnable stretches, climbs, changing terrain, and sections that will make you work for that finish. Whether you’re taking on the Trail Half Marathon or the 5K, this is a race built for runners who are ready for a little adventure. Trail Half MarathonThirteen-ish miles of trail, challenge, and plenty of reasons to keep moving forward. The course will test you, but you don’t have to be the fastest runner on the trail to take it on. Half Marathon Time Limit: 5 Hours That gives participants an average pace of approximately 22:50 per mile, allowing plenty of room to slow down, hike the tougher sections, catch your breath, and keep moving toward the finish. Come join us on Thanksgiving morning for a 2-mile fun run! The event will be held at Mehaffey Park. We will have a fun course, music, and more! Come dressed in your best Turkey Day outfit. Every participant will receive a memorable campfire mug and bib. Shirts can be added on during registration. This event will benefit KidsPak. We will be accepting food donations to help fill their shelves and a portion of the proceeds will go to them too. Groups of 3 or more get a discount at registration! Start is at 8am! This year we will have two race starts! You can choose 8am or 8:30am. Pre-race day packet pickup will be at TBD, Wednesday evening. We will be updating you with all the info soon. Stayed tuned…. Each race will run through a part of Loveland we haven’t highlighted until this race. You can pick which distance you want to run! Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the start line and be ready for the “drop”. This race benefits Realities for Children.  5K and 15K - 9amam 10K - 9:05am

🎄 1-Mile Festive Run Around Chapungu Get ready to jingle all the way around Chapungu Sculpture Park! The Sleigh Bell Shuffle is a festive 1-mile run/walk filled with holiday spirit. Dress for the occasion! Wear your sleigh bells, Santa suits, reindeer antlers, Rudolph costumes, ugly sweaters, or favorite holiday gear and join us for a fun-filled mile. 🎅 And keep an eye out at the finish line — Santa will be waiting for you! Whether you run, walk, skip, or shuffle, this one is all about celebrating the season, having fun, and making holiday memories.
