Who's ready to hop into Spring? Shake off winter and welcome the sunshine at the Hop Into Spring 5K! This fun, friendly run invites athletes of all ages and paces to kick off the new season on a smooth, flat course perfect for both runners and walkers. Whether you're chasing a personal best or enjoying a refreshing spring stroll, this race is the perfect way to celebrate longer days, warmer weather, and fresh starts. We’ll be recognizing excellence across the field with awards for the Top Three Male and Female Overall finishers, as well as Master, Grand Master, and Senior Master Overalls. In addition, the top three athletes in each of the traditional five-year age groups will take home awards. Mental health struggles often go unseen, yet they affect millions of people every day. Mind Over Miles invites participants to take a meaningful step forward not just physically, but mentally. The central message of this race is simple: One step for your body. One step for your mind. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly one in five adults in the United States experiences a mental illness each year, and research shows that physical activity can help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. By joining this virtual 5K, participants show support for mental health awareness and help break the stigma surrounding mental illness. Organizations such as the National Alliance on Mental Illness stress the importance of awareness and community support (NAMI). The Global Nerve Foundation (GNF) is a charitable, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of millions of people worldwide affected by peripheral nerve problems. To celebrate our fourth anniversary on September 13, 2026, we’re hosting our first-ever virtual 5K and 10K—and you can participate from anywhere in the world. This event has two goals: Raise global awareness of peripheral nerve problems, andSupport GNF’s mission through optional fundraising (participation is free). Participants who choose to fundraise will be eligible to receive free race swag and GNF goodies as a thank-you for their support. Run or walk on your own route, at your own pace, wherever you are. Participants can submit their results during the first two weeks of September. Celebrate the spirit of hard work and hometown heroes at the Labor Day 5K/10K/15K — a race dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who serve as our First Responders. We will gather in Kennesaw, GA for this meaningful Labor Day event which recognizes firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and medical professionals who protect and serve our communities every day. Whether you’re running in support of a loved one, racing alongside a local hero, or participating as a First Responder yourself, this event is about gratitude, strength, and unity. Participants may choose from three distances — 5K, 10K, or 15K — making it accessible for runners and walkers of all levels. All First Responders receive a free race entry as a small token of appreciation for their service. Valid ID must be presented at bib pickup to confirm eligibility. The Lucky Dog Race for Recovery 5K Hosted by The Extension Alumni Get ready to lace up your sneakers, leash up your pup, and join us for a tail-wagging good time at The Lucky Dog Race for Recovery 5K! This fun, family-friendly event brings together dog lovers, fitness enthusiasts, and community supporters for a scenic 5K run/walk that benefits a great cause. Whether you’re racing to beat your personal best or strolling at a casual pace with your four-legged friend, this event is all about community, connection, and compassion. All proceeds support The Extension Alumni, where we help individuals rebuild their lives from homelessness and substance abuse.  This is a chip-timed event.
