Welcome to the Houston Kids Triathlon presented by Huntington Bank. The 11th annual kids triathlon will take place at Typhoon Texas Waterpark in Katy, Texas over TWO DAYS; Saturday April 11th and Sunday, April 12th. After each race day, the park will be open for participants and family to enjoy a day of fun in the sun.  The Short Course triathlon (ages 6-11) will include a 125-meter swim, 2-mile bike, and 1-mile run. Join us Saturday, April 25, 2026 as we come together to celebrate Rylen and Organ Donation! Rylen, who was always smiling, quickly earned the name Smilin' Rylen. Rylen earned his angel wings on June 5, 2017, at only 13.5 months old, after a battle with Bacterial Meningitis. Little but Mighty, Rylen did not leave this earth untouched. Thanks to the medical advances in organ donation, Rylen was able to save 5 lives. We remember Rylen with everything ORANGE, a color of happiness! Our Mission at The Smilin' Rylen Foundation is to raise awareness about organ donation and to assist families in crisis. Enjoy an early morning 10k, 5k or 1k run followed by brews at the NEW Katy Beer Garden in Katy, Texas. All runners will receive an event shirt and medal. The 10k and 5k are a timed event, so age group awards will be given. Enjoy a beverage with your friends while listening to our DJ and stop by the photo booth to remember the morning.  We welcome walkers, dogs, and strollers.

Matthew, a brave young boy who lost his life at just 9 years old after a valiant fight against leukemia. Throughout his battles, Matthew exemplified incredible resilience and positivity. He continued to attend school, play, and bring joy to those around him with his humor and determination. His unwavering spirit and courage are the driving forces behind Miles 4 Matthew. Matthew's parents and friends established Miles 4 Matthew to offer financial assistance to families facing pediatric cancer while raising awareness and fostering a positive mindset. Matthew, initially diagnosed with ALL at age 4, beat cancer but faced a rare relapse in 2022. Despite his struggles, he remained upbeat and determined. His story inspires us to support others and continue his legacy. We invite you to join us for the Miles 4 Matthew 5K taking place on Saturday, October 18th at No Label Brewing Co.
