Welcome to the First Annual Kukini Keaahala 5K Welcome to the First Annual Kukini Keaahala 5K, sponsored by Hui Mākua o Pūʻōhala and Ke Kula Kaiapuni ʻo Pūʻōhala. This inaugural race marks a milestone year for Pūʻōhala as we celebrate our first graduating class of seniors under the Castle High School Kaiapuni Academy, while continuing our commitment to student leadership, health, and wellness.   The Kukini Keaahala 5K will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, beginning at 7:00 a.m. on the campus of Windward Community College, which also serves as a part-time campus for Pūʻōhala high school students. A rare and beautiful venue at the Old Pali Road 5K! A beautiful tropical route that starts at the Ko`olau Ballrooms and Conference Center (formerly the Ko`olau Golf Club) and takes runners along the scenic and challenging Old Pali Road. The 5K course is an out and back route through the very scenic closed roadway course. If you have not run on the Old Pali Road before you are in for a (slightly hilly) treat!  Free parking is available at the Ko`olau Ballrooms and Conference Center. Come experience the joy!
