Kick off your Thanksgiving celebrations with the Jeff RUN sonville Turkey Trot! Join us on Thursday, November 26th for a festive morning of movement and community spirit on the beautiful Cambridge Greenway Trail. The 5K will go off at 8:00 AM, and then the 2K at 8:15 AM. All races start and finish in the open field behind VT Canoe and Kayak, featuring a flat, scenic Cambridge Greenway course perfect for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. This is a relaxed, family-friendly event. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just looking to stretch your legs before the feast, everyone’s welcome! The race will be timed for those who want to test their pace, but the atmosphere will stay festive and fun. Turkey Costumes welcome! Strollers are welcome, but please no dogs on the course. All proceeds from the Jeff RUN sonville Turkey Trot benefit Cambridge Recreation, supporting community programming such as Cambridge Youth Softball and Baseball, Girls on the Run, swim lessons and the Ski and Ride program in conjunction with Smuggler's Notch, as well as future local races! Come out, bring your family and friends, and start your holiday off right! Strava file of the course coming soon!

Since 2017, we have partnered with the Jeffersonville Police Department to hold an annual community event to raise money for our local law enforcement, the Back Your Blue 5K.  Every year , the event is held down at the Big Four Station in Downtown Jeffersonville with food, activities, and demonstrations for everyone to experience. Local businesses and members of the community sponsor the event, which helps raise funds for the officers of the Jeffersonville Police Department.  The event is open to anyone who wants to participate, run or walk.
