JOHNSON FAMILY YMCA CELEBRATE LIFE 5K PARTNERSHIP INVITATION On Saturday, March 21, 2026, our 19th Annual Celebrate Life 5K brings the community together for a day of fellowship, fun and the opportunity to get fit together. The 5K allows us to serve our community while engaging the entire First Coast community to support our worthy cause. Through the Celebrate Life 5K, you are supporting more than 2,000 youth that reside in the north side of Jacksonville through day camp, youth sports, after school programming and more. Sombrero Running Events is turning 3 years old and we wanted to offer you 3 miles of FREE FUN to come and join us at Lake Fretwell on Cecil Fields for some post run BBQ and Chorizo and egg burritos as well as some fun giveaway items as well as some FREE RACE ENTRIES into other sombrero events, like our Yo Daddy 5k/10k on father's day weekend and one of our awesome trail races. This is the 2nd annual 5K run and fun run to be held on Black Hammock Island on August 1st, 2026. The race will be held entirely on the Island, and will feature a 5K run at 9AM and a fun run at 10M. You can run and walk either event. The race will start and finish at the Black Hammock Island Community Center, 15770 Sawpit Road, Jax, FL 32226. Race registration includes a short sleeve Tshirt, and a finisher medal, and post race back to school bash.    Awards will be given to the top 3 overall M/F finishers of the 5K, and the First M/F finishers in age groups 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. There are no awards for the fun run    Packet pickup will happen on Race morning at the Black Hammock Island Community Center starting at 7:30 AM
