What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! Paws in the Park is one of Cascades Humane Society’s largest fundraisers of the year. The Mighty Mile is for kids only ages 5 to 14 years old. The race is part of the Michigan Running Foundation Mighty Mile series put on at several locations in Michigan in an effort to encourage our children to run and stay active. This race is located at the Parkside Middle School Track on Thursday evening, June 4th. We hope to have a fun and challenging event for all the kids to get their summer off to a running and healthy start!   Calling all Elementary and Middle School students: Finish up your school year with a challenging and fun mile and get your Summer off to an active healthy start!   All runners will receive a T-shirt, Backpack, and a chipped timed accurate mile. On June 6th, our community comes together not just to run or walk, but to remember. The Westlake Veterans Club invites you to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown on D‑Day by joining us for a military‑themed 5K run and 2K walk.  And will have designated sections named after the 5 landing sites- Omaha, Utah, Gold, Juno and Sword. Both the 5K and 2K courses are on the beautiful, flat roadways surrounding the golf course with the start and finish lines at the world class clubhouse!  Proceeds will enable the continuing philanthropic donations the Westlake Veterans Club provides to veteran and community causes in the Greater Ocean County area. Wrap up the annual Breathitt County Honey Festival by coming out to participate in the 2026 Honey Run, presented by the Breathitt County Cooperative Extension Office and Juniper Health! There will be a Kids Fun Run before the start of the race, and then you can join us for a 2-mile walk or 5k/10k run in the beautiful Lakeside neighborhood, by Panbowl Lake.  We hope you’ll join us! Race routes are currently being determined due to HWY 15 road construction.  We will post updates here as soon as we have more information. All Kids Fun Run participants will receive a small prize.  There will not be age category winners. The Jackson Hole Marathon races cover the best of the Jackson Hole Valley and finish at the base of the Teton Mountain Range in Teton Village. If the altitude doesn’t take your breath away, the scenery certainly will! While you’re here, enjoy Jackson’s vibrant food and art scene, sample some of the best craft breweries in the country, and explore endless open space in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, and Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. You can purchase your pre-race shuttle ticket when you register (or in your RunSignUp account after you register). Shuttles run from the finish line to the start lines BEFORE the race. Nuestra Comunidad is excited for the third annual Corre con Los Muertos - Run with the Dead on Saturday, October 31st at Cascades Park in Jackson. Come celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and Dia de Los Muertos with Nuestra Comunidad (Our Community). All race proceeds will go to supporting scholarships and resources for Hispanic students in the Jackson community.    Pricing: Special New Years day pricing $20 valid 1/1 to 1/15. Then $25 until October 18th (T-shirt guaranteed), $30 from 10/19 to 10/30 (no shirt guaranteed), $40 on race day October 31st (no shirt) Family/Group pricing: $5/discount per person when registering 3 or more people at the same time.
