Run Friends Run 5k is a race through the beautiful 54-acre campus of Friends Meeting School (FMS) and the surrounding neighborhood. The chip-timed 5k is part cross-country (on campus) and part road race. The pet-friendly, 1-mile, untimed, fun run takes place on campus. Coordinated by FMS parent volunteers, this event celebrates the benefits of physical exercise and community, and it raises money to support the school’s academic programs and staff.

This is a chip timing practice race. FSRC Race Services uses these low key events to test new and updated timing software and give team members a chance to learn and practice in a non-critical environment. YOU can help by joining us. We're limiting this to 40 participants, so don't delay. We will have a waiting list, so if you register and find you cannot make it, please let us know so someone on the wait list can be added. You must be a club member on race day in order to register. If you’re not a club member, you can join at https://runsignup.com/fsrc. Race Day Registration You may sign up on race day, but you'll need to do it online on your own device. We will not have paper forms or registration kiosks. Competition This race will NOT count towards the FSRC Grand Prix. There will be no awards, but we'll have bagels and coffee for everyone at the finish. We use these practice races to test our timing software and train our team. While we will do our best to have accurate results, there may be some areas which aren't perfectly smooth. Join us for the Toca Juniors 5K Run, Nature Walk, and Kids Caterpillar Run on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Toca Juniors Soccer Complex in Urbana, Maryland. This event is open to all ages and abilities and will benefit the Toca Juniors Football Club, a non-profit organization that fosters the physical and social development of its members through soccer programs and sports-related events. The 5K will start at 10am and will follow a scenic cross country route. The course will be marked and timed, and water stations will be available. All finishers will receive a t-shirt and a food voucher for the after-race party. Awards will be given to the top male and female runners in each age group.
