Welcome to the 52nd edition of this classic Birmingham race. What started as the Bicentennial Run in November 1975 with 221 runners has grown into one of the most popular road races in the Southeast. Join us Sunday, November 22, 2026 as we host the Annual Butterball Burner 5K Fun Run. Burn some extra calories before your big Thanksgiving meal and enjoy a fun filled run/walk! All ages and abilities welcome. This self-timed event is great for family and friends wanting to get active, be active or stay active and have fun. Registration includes a commemorative long-sleeve t-shirt and medal. All paid participants will receive a shirt and medal. However, if you register after November 1, your order will still be placed, but we cannot guarantee that your shirt and medal will be available on race day.
