The 35th Annual Breakfast Lions Club Tri-Fest 5K Run/Walk benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Henderson, KY will be on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This race will take place at Central Park downtown by the riverfront and start at 8am rain or shine!  This is a certified 5K race route with medals and awards given out after the race.  Pre-Registration bag includes a 35th Anniversary and 100th Home Limited Edition Tri-Fest 5K shirt, custom bib and swag bag full of additional goodies while supplies last. Habitat for Humanity will also be hosting the 9th Annual Habi-Tot Trot Kids Dash at 7:40 for kids ages 7 and under. Sign-up for the kids is $5 and they can be signed up day of race, by emailing shadley@hendersonhabitat.org or by visiting the Habitat Affiliate office or ReStore located at 1030 3rd St, Henderson, KY during normal business hours. Nick Payne was suddenly taken from us by a deadly DVT-deep vein thrombosis on November 26, 2020. He was a beloved Son, Husband, Father, Uncle, Brother-in-law, Son-in-law and very loyal friend to many. He is missed beyond words. It is our Family’s mission to raise awareness concerning this dangerous medical condition with the hope of preventing further lives from being lost to a potentially treatable condition. Please join our global movement to stop blood clots and save lives by raising awareness.

This is a memorial 5k run/walk to honor fallen Trooper Mack Brady who died in the line of duty on 11/9/66 in Henderson Kentucky. All proceeds from the race will go to benefit Trooper Island Camp which help underpriveleged children experience a week of fun at Trooper Island located on Dale Hollow Lake. Children experience swimming, hiking, kayaking, archery, markmanship, sports, and fun for the entire week with all expenses paid for through donations to the Island. Children also learn valuable leadership and social skills during there stay. Help make a lasting lifetime experience for children who otherwise would not likely get to experience a week of fun, leadership, adventure, and life skills.

A Course Like No Other This isn't your standard road race. Our unique, behind-the-scenes 5K course will take you on a scenic route through the historic Ellis Park grounds. You will run past the paddocks, take in the beautiful facility, and experience the ultimate thrill: crossing the finish line right on the main dirt race track! The Kids Dash (Featuring the Inflatable Pony!) Bring the whole family! We are hosting a special Kids Dash for our younger runners - 12 and under. To make it extra memorable, the dash will feature a hilariously fun inflatable pony! Every child participating will get a chance to race the pony and burn off some energy. Join Junior Achievement of West Ky for the Columbia Chilly Hilly 5K/10K on November 7th at Audubon State Park! Each participant will receive an event t-shirt!
