Join us for the Flip N Cheer Booster Club 5Kake Fun Run/Walk, a fun, family-friendly community event supporting our nonprofit booster club and the amazing athletes we serve! This non-competitive 5K welcomes runners, walkers, families, and supporters of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or just enjoying a morning of movement and community spirit, this event is all about having fun while giving back. And of course, the best part—every finisher receives a “Kake medal", a cupcake finisher "medal" that’s as sweet as the cause you’re supporting. Come for the run. Stay for the smiles. Leave with "Kake". All proceeds benefit the Flip N Cheer Booster Club, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth athletes through training, competition, and team opportunities.

Friends of Yellow River State Forest will be holding their Seventh Annual 5K and 10K Trail Run/Walk and Half-marathon on May 8 and 9 the State Forest! The driftless region of Iowa is like no other place in the state. Run with us at Yellow River State Forest to experience a variety of terrain and beautiful views of the surrounding valleys. We'll have a half marathon, 10K, and 5K to challenge all abilities of trail runner!  The Iowa Trail Run Series is not about spending a bunch of cash for no reason. You'll get a great race with clear marking and course support, with basic timing, a cool custom bib, and a rotating race item such as a BUFF, socks, a stocking cap, coffee mug, and aluminum water bottle. Signing up for the entire series includes an exclusive series gift! Do you want a really soft and comfy tri-blend shirt with one of our Animal Icons? Great! Add one during your registration.
