J.A.M. (Jude Academy Memorial) is an annual event to celebrate the legacy of Jude Rockwell Marler. All proceeds go to India to help educate school children. Hosted by Chand Foundation Race Location: 810 New Morn Dr., Hampton, GA 30228 Race time starts at 9:00AM, registration opens at 8:00AM Jude Rockwell Marler died due to complications during birth on April 28, 2012.  He was almost 10 pounds of the most beautiful boy we ever saw…we had been calling him “our buddy” ever since we found out that he was a boy.  And that day was the worst day of our lives.  He left two stunned parents (Rachel almost died as well and spent many months recovering physically), a big sister who was 12 at the time, grandparents waiting to dote on him, aunts, uncles, and countless friends who were hoping to celebrate.  Instead we left the hospital empty handed.  Put the car seat away in a closet.  And wondered “WHY”.  No parent should have to bury their child.  But we did.  So we had to deal with that.  We spent

Lovejoy 5K Walk/ Run

The City of Lovejoy would like to invite you to the Lovejoy 5K Walk/Run hosted by Councilwoman Rosannette Kirby. The event will be taking place on Saturday, April 25th, 2026. The City of Lovejoy has a strong focus for education and bridging the gap between the community and government. We're excited to have everyone join us in helping raise funds for Lovejoy High School. The Lovejoy 5K Walk/Run is a great way to bring everyone together in a positive and active way. We encourage all friends, families, residents, and guest to come together for this amazing experience. Joe Harney Memorial PTC Scholarship Trailzilla Series at Sandy Bottom Nature Park

Hampton, VA
Three days of summer trail running on dirt paths through a local city park at increasing distances. Hot and sweaty summer running in a fun-setting. Course is suitable for all ages and ability levels. Participants at the Joe-Zilla 5-Miler and the full 3-race Trailzilla Series will receive race singlets. The event is organized, conducted, and results generated by the Peninsula Track Club. Registration is open to the public and members of the Peninsula Track Club. The entire Trailzilla race series benefits the PTC Scholarship funds. We are planning to give awards for each Trailzilla race to the top 3 overall male & female, top male & female age group winners (5-year age groups), including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and older, and top 3 male & female Walkers. Hampton County Watermelon Festival 5K

The Hampton County Watermelon Festival 5K will take place on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at 8:00 AM.    Late registrations will be available Friday June 19th, from 4pm-6pm at the Hampton gazebo located on Lee Avenue in Hampton.   Race day registration will be available from 630am-730am at the Hampton County courthouse.   Packet pickup will be available from 4pm-6pm on Friday, June 19th.  Packets can also be picked up on race day beginning at 6:30 AM and lasting until 7:30AM.    Race starts and finishes on Elm Street in front of the courthouse.  Awards will take place after the race.    Awards will be given to the top three overall finishers as well as the top Male and Female in the following age categories:  12 & Under 13 - 19 20 - 29 30 - 39 40 - 49 50 - 59 60 - 69 70 and up  Race will be held rain or shine. No refunds will be given.  Registration must be received by Friday, June 1st to guarantee T-shirt.

Fortson 4-H Center Races A Clover Glove & Black Bag Series Race July 10 & 11, 2026 Hampton, Georgia The Races:  These races are part of the 12 Days of Christmas (in July) Clover Glove mini-series. If you registered for these races as part of the 12 Days mini-series, DO NOT register again here.
