Dear Friends of Race Montana and Burn the Bird, It's that time of year again for the Race Montana Burn the Bird 10K, 5K, and 1.33-mile walk.  We hope you have had a fabulous year.  Let's finish 2026 strong with a great run on Thanksgiving morning! Yes, Burn the Bird is on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026.  The 10K starts at 8:00 am, the 5k will start at 8:10 am and the 1.33-mile (once lap around Gibson Park) will start at 8:20 am.THE FIRST 500 PARTICIPANTS GET A PAIR OF OUR COOL BURN THE BIRD SOCKS.... Welcome to the 46th Annual Ice Breaker Road RaceThe health and safety of all who support the Ice Breaker Road Race is our primary consideration. Join thousands of runners, joggers, and fitness walkers who enter the race each year. The five-mile road race offers a competitive format with a three-mile run offering both a competitive and recreational format. Register the entire family to take advantage of our special family rate. Packet pickup starts Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Great Falls Convention Center located within the City of Great Falls Civic Center. Packet pickup will only be on Saturday the 26th or Sunday the 27th before your race (doors open at 9:00 AM Sunday).
