Grayling Junior Vikings Football and Cheer Registration:      EARLY Registration begins on 2-1-26 at 12:00am until 6-30-25 11:59pm.      LATE Registration (with late fee) begins on 7-1-25 at 12:00am until 8-1-25 at 11:59pm.      No registrations will be accepted after August 1, 2025.  COST: $100 for Football grades 3rd-8th.  $100 for Cheer grades 3rd-8th.        **$50 late charge is applied for registration after 6-30-25 for football and cheer, per athlete.        Online registration only with payment due at time of sign up. IMPORTANT!!!!- There are FOUR forms that are REQUIRED prior to your athlete being eligible for practice.      These forms are to be completed in their entirety (including all required signatures) and include:       CONCUSSION EDUCATION, EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM, RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM AND PLAYER/PARENT CONDUCT FORM.      ***All four forms need to be PRINTED and brought with the athlete ON THE FIRST SCHEDULED DAY OF PRACTICE (date/time will be communicated to all

WHO CAN JOIN? This group is open to 20 GIRLS enrolled in 3RD through 5th grade for the 2025-26 school year.  WHAT IS IT?  We focus on the whole girl. Meeting in small teams, trained volunteer coaches inspire girls to build confidence and other important life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and physical activity. WHEN DO WE MEET? Beginning March 23, 2026. Practices Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:45p.m.  WHERE DO WE MEET?  We will meet at GRAYLING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? $25 per Child. The price includes instruction, T-shirt, and entry into the Grayling Girls On The Run 5K on Friday May 15th. Come join CASA as we host our Plant the Pitch 5k. This fundraiser is to help CASA with a 3-acre field expansion. Race will take place at the CASA soccer fields where you will make 2 laps around the county property. Entering your second lap you will encounter a skills challenge then continue to finish the course. This event is open to all!

WHO CAN JOIN? This group is open to any child going into 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th grade for 2026-27 School year.    WHAT IS IT?  This is a fundamentally based running club which will focus on fun exercise and light-hearted competition through team games and activities.  Children are broken into small groups for the “long run”, which ranges from ¼ mile to 2-mile distance (depending on age and ability).   WHEN DO WE MEET? Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm to 5pm.   Season dates:  June 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18.  RAGNAR RACE June 20   WHERE DO WE MEET?  We will meet at HANSON HILLS RECREATION AREA. DIAL-A-RIDE will be arranged for ELY Participants traveling- from the Elementary to Hanson Hills.   Parents must arrange transportation after the program ends at 5pm.   HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? INDIVIDUAL: $30   FAMILY (up to 5 kids): $75 The price includes 3 weeks of instruction with snacks, and a Mighty Milers T-shirt.  As well as entry into RAGNAR 1 mile event at Hanson Hills.

Learn to Kayak: This is an introductory recreational kayak course for boys and girls ages 7-15. Students will learn or improve basic strokes, water safety, and fundamentals all while having fun. Class will be held on June 18,19,25,26, & July 2, 2025 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Class fee includes instruction, a Paddle Club t-shirt, use of boats, paddles, and PFD. (You may bring your own properly fitting PFD if preferred) Please bring a water bottle, sunblock, water shoes, and swimsuit. Cost: $55 Youth C2-Race Canoe: This program is for ages 10-18 who are interested in more advanced canoe paddling techniques. During this class Paddlers will receive performance coaching while using C2 racing boats, where they will improve their speed, technique, and fitness. Class will be held on June 18,19,25,26, & July 2, 2025 from 5:15pm to 6:30pm. Class fee includes use of C2 racing boat, paddle, PFD, and Paddle club shirt. Please bring a water bottle, sun block, water shoes, and swimsuit. Cost: $6

Ride the Black Bear Gran Fondo on Saturday, July 11, 2026! Three timed loops to choose from: 100, 62 and 45 miles. Start/finish at Hanson Hills Recreation Area in Grayling, MI.  Gran Fondo start for all distances.
