The Grand Ledge Education Foundation Comet Chase 5k will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Grand Ledge, Michigan. All events begin and end at the Brandt-Spalsbury Track & Field Facility (1211 Lohne Dr. Grand Ledge, MI 48837).   A 1 mile run for youth 13 & under starts at 8:00 AM and a 400m Kids Race begins at 8:30 AM.  Both events will take place on the track.  The 5k race begins at 8:45 AM on the track  and travels a well marked course through town before finishing on the track.  All proceeds go to benefit the Grand Ledge Education Foundation a 501(c)3 organization that works to provide extra funding for special projects within the Grand Ledge Public Schools classrooms. Pricing: 5k in person - $35 until 5/30/26 then $45. Come join Eaton County Parks and Recreation for our 9th Annual Timber Trails 5K at scenic Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge! This run/walk will take you on a slightly challenging course with ranging elevation over grass, gravel roads, and wooded trails. A perfect way to enjoy a brisk fall morning in one of the most beautiful parks in Eaton County.  All ages are encouraged to join! Early registration by Thursday, September 17th includes a long sleeve t-shirt.  Race will begin at 9am.
