Please join us this Halloween (a.k.a. Reformation Day!) for a 5K Fun Run, in support of Austin and Cayla Albrecht's summer 2027 mission trip to Southeast Asia! Come out in your best costume, and feel free to bring your pups! The recommend entry fee for the event is $30, but feel free to donate what you can afford or feel called to give. We are so grateful for any and all support, and we're looking forward to having some fun together with our community! Run or walk in our 5K fundraiser for the Central High Theatre & Choir Booster Club!   We are encouraging all participants to wear a costume while you run/walk/roll this race! Wear your favorite costume and join the fun while supporting the arts.    Performances by the CHS Choir and Theatre Department will begin at 9:30 am. This is a cupless race, so bring your water bottle! Water and snacks will be provided. Food trucks will also have food available for sale.

This is a 5K fund raiser for Grand Valley Oncology. This year we are raising money for our Gas & Lodging program. The program offers travel assistance and lodging for out of town patients seeking oncology care.  The 5K course is composed of 3 and half loops around the perimeter of the Community Hospital and includes a mix of road, sidewalk and gravel path. Participants will run through showers of food grade colored powder for the ultimate color experience! We want to make this event fun for all ages and accessible to all ability groups. Participants have the option to signup for the timed 5K or the Fun Run/Walk .  Both options are the same course.  Timed 5K participants receive a timing chip on their bib and will be lined up in the first wave of the race.  Fun Run participants will not receive a bib and can take the course at their own pace and have fun along the way. Join us for the 1st annual Red, White, and WARRIOR 5k this Independence Day! This family-friendly race is proudly hosted by and benefits the Central High School Warrior Marching Band. Runners, walkers, and move as you please-ers of all ages are welcome; kids 10 and under can join the fun in our Little Sparkler Sprint. Come celebrate Independence Day with movement, music, and community pride!

Helping to Heal! The 13th Annual Spirit of the Valley Run, Walk 'N Roll 1K and 5K timed races are set for Saturday September 13, 2025. Runners, walkers and rollers are all welcome for a great morning of competition, fun, food, and rock ‘n roll. The race will benefit two local organizations - the VA Recreational Therapy Program on the Western Slope and Hilltop's Latimer House. The race starts and ends at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, at the corner of 27 ½ Rd. and Cortland Ave., followed by live rock ‘n roll music.   A sack brunch will be served to all participants and volunteers. Additional meal tickets are $7 and are available at the door.   Vetted and trained childcare is available at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church on a donation basis.
