Lake Metroparks Madhatters Canoe & Kayak Race

Race begins at Ashtabula County Metroparks’ Harpersfield Covered Bridge Metropark and ends at Lake Metroparks’ Hidden Valley Park in Madison. Race course is 8.5 miles. MADDEST HAT CONTESTAre you mad? (All racers qualify!) Design a hat (or some sort of river-worthy headgear) and wear it April 25. The “maddest hat” wins a prize! The more creative, the better— just go crazy! Hats must be worn during the race and fit under bridges (clearance approx. 140 ft.). Registration ends at 11:59 pm on Sunday, April 19.

Headed into our 14th in-person running, the Seneca7 is an opportunity to spend a day with 6 of your favorite sweaty smelly funny and somewhat athletically inclined friends in a 77.7’ish mile circumnavigation of Seneca Lake. Join us for a race inspired by good fortune and a deep body of blue. The Seneca7 will introduce you to the wonders of Seneca Lake: rushing inlets, crashing waterfalls, banks bathed in golden sunlight. All you (and your team) have to do is run around it. Event registration opens each October and has been consistently capping out in about 5 minutes. So, set those alarms to be ready to click by 7:00 AM on Friday, October 31st.

Middle Finger 5K

It’s a great day to tell cancer where it can go, all while supporting those with cancer in our very own community! We hope you’ll join us on May 9, 2026, for the Middle Finger 5K. Musselman Preview Ride

Welcome Triathletes!  It's time to put the final touches on your training before tapering begins, so register to join us for the 4th Annual Musselman Preview Ride (Sat Jun 20th @ 8:00am) benefitting the Geneva Food Pantry.  This event is organized by the Rochester Area Triathletes (RATs) with support from Truepath Racing, Geneva Bike, Lake Drum Brewing Company, Red Jacket Orchards. MMTT Splash and Dash - Geneva

Join us for the annual MMTT Splash and Dash.Distances: Junior (age 6 -10)  100 meter swim; 1 Kilometer Run)Senior (age 11 – 17) 200 meter swim; 2 Kilometer Run)Age is determined by the age of your athlete on race day.  If you are 10 years old on race day, you will race in the 10 year old age group. Swim Detail: The Junior swim will be done in a “snake” fashion with each swimmer swimming one length in each lane (a total of 4 lengths in a 25 meter pool). There will be lifeguards on duty as well as volunteers to make sure each swimmer completes the course in a safe manner. Swimmers will be starting the course one at a time at 10-second intervals. Swimmers will be allowed to pass another swimmer. The Senior racers will have a designated lane (shared with 1 other athlete) and swim down and back until their swim is complete.
