October 24 2026, is Wayside's annual 5K4Kids run/walk and family fair. This is a wonderful occasion for the whole family, featuring: • 5-kilometer race • Refreshments • Free family activities include: Framingham Library Book Mobile, Touch-a-Truck, Food trucks, face painting, airbrush tattoos, balloon clown, bouncy house, lawn games and much more. Price: $25 until 10/15, $35 until 8pm on 11/14, $45 until 8:30am on race morning. Location: Park, start, and finish at Brophy Elementary School, 575 Pleasant Street (Route 30), Framingham MA 01701 . Please carpool if you can. Check-In: Begins at 7:30 AM and closes at 8:45 AM. Course Description: The natural trails (some hills, some rocks, & some roots) of Callahan State Park. The first 0.3 and last 0.6 mile of each race is on the road with a finish back at Brophy Elementary. Safety Restrictions: Sorry but pets are not allowed on the race course. Headphones and Air Pods are discouraged. Race Amenities: Indoor pre- and post-race festivities and use of facilities. Well-marked course with mile markers. There is one water stop on the 5.3 mile course and two water stops on the 10 mile course. See maps for locations. Commemorative Gift: A beautiful pair of running gloves. Always "handy" to have! Awards: Log Trophy Awards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall male and female finishers. Join us Saturday, September 26, 2026 for our 15th Annual Voices Against Violence 5k walk/run! Packet pick-up and day-of registration starts at 7 am. We will kick off the event together at 7:30 AM with words from local leaders devoted to ending sexual and domestic violence. The race starts at 8 am sharp, followed by medals and raffle drawing at 9:00.
