"The East Farms Spring Ahead 5K Fun Run/Walk (or 1-mile Run/Walk!) was started 11 years ago by an East Farms parent looking to help raise funds for the PTO. It has turned into the biggest fundraiser for the school every year! The PTO strives to to enrich the curriculum by organizing and funding various educational, cultural and social activities, and all funds raised go directly towards these efforts. We help fund field trips to lessen the financial burden on families, and we help to support school events like Night of Arts and Culture, YARC Day and various other educational and cultural assemblies. We also help to support families in need in our school community with support through the Wolf Fund. But, the 5K is not only about raising money; it's an event that is focused on promoting health and wellness as well! Run this fun Star Themed race along the Legacy Parkway Trail System. Race starts and finishes at the Legacy Events "Space" Center. This year the Race Director Strikes Back. Enjoy the fun running at night with your friends fighting for the light or dark side.

Hood Mesa Trail Run Lion's Wilderness Park Farmington, NM  15 Mile 7:00am, 9 Mile 7:05am, 5 Mile 7:10am   The 2nd Edition of the Hood Mesa Trail Run will be held in Farmington, NM at the Lions Wilderness Park and follow the flowy trails through the Hood Mesa Area. Three different distances will give runners of all levels the chance to enjoy the event! Hood Mesa Trail Run will take place on May 16, 2026. What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk? The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! For more information on the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation please visit t2t.org. This will be the 8th year for Tunnel to Towers to hold an event in the Twin Cities, MN. We are very excited to bring together the community to honor first responders, remember 9/11, and raise funds for the Tunnel to Towers programs.  How far is a Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk? This is a 5K (approximately 3.1 miles) to walk or run event. Anyone can run, walk, or experience this event.  Where can I pick up my packet?

Riverfest 10K, 5K, & 2-mile Walk Animas Park, Farmington, NMSaturday, May 23, 20268:00 a.m. Start Time   Our annual Riverfest 10K, 5K, & 2-mile walk is just around the corner on Saturday, May 23, 2025 at 8:00AM. Both runs and walk will start and finish at the Animas Park parking lot area and run along the scenic river trails. Cut Off Time: 10:00 AM.  No assistance will be provided after that time. The 10K and 5K runs will feature electronic chip timing! The first 300 participants to register will receive a race t-shirt, and age group awards (male and female) will be given for both the 10K and 5K races. After the race, stroll around Berg Park and enjoy the music and other Riverfest activities!   Registration: Registration for the 10K, 5K, and 2-mile walk opens March 1st. The LOC Credit Union 5k Color Run will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 during the Farmington Founders Festival. This 5k chip-timed fun run will give participants the opportunity to run through scenic Shiawassee Park and beautiful Downtown Farmington.   This race has something for everyone. If you are a competitive runner this will be an accurate 5k. There will be age group medals for awards along with medals for the Overall Male and Female winner. Positioned within the race route will be four color stations. If you wish to forego the color there will be enough room to breeze straight past them. The entry fee includes a t-shirt if signed up by July 5th, 2026. For those signing up after that date we cannot guarantee runner shirts, at that point they will be on a first come basis until they run out.   If you want to challenge yourself to run or walk a 5k but also have some fun (and COLOR!) along the way then this race is for you! Run this fun Hawaiian Luau Themed Race with a Luau at the end of the race. Enjoy Fire Dancers and Hula Dancers. This race is priced slightly higher than most standard Half, 10K, and 5Ks we host because you will get a full Luau at the finish as well as a plated meal with Pork, Rice, Etc.
