The course winds through shaded park trails, gentle curves, and open stretches perfect for finding your stride. 5K Course: A fast, scenic single-loop (or out-and-back depending on setup) route designed for beginners, families, and seasoned runners looking to set a personal best.10K Course: Double the distance, double the challenge! 5k Run/Walk for Lily April 12, 2026 - 10:00am Fairborn Middle School Track   The 2nd Annual 5k run/walk for Lily (Clingner) will be Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 10:00 am. Lily tragically passed away in a car accident on December 16, 2022. The money collected from the race will go towards Lily's Scholarship fund. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  High School: We also welcome our High School runners! Our high school students will be running a 2 mile race.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. The Spring rendition of the Girls on the Run 5k will return to Wright State University.  Girls on the Run is an incredible program that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.  Girls on the Run strives for a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. As many of you know, our Girls on the Run participants traditionally run alongside an adult Running Buddy. The job of the Running Buddy is to provide one-on-one support and encouragement to their girl as she takes on a great challenge. YOU can help our girls find their happy pace and share in the magic of helping her cross the finish line.  The race day give-away is a Girls On The Run branded reusable bag and is first come first served - so don't wait to sign up!
