Welcome to the TOF Blazing Fun Run & 5K! Lace up your sneakers and join us for a day filled with energy, inclusion, and community spirit! The 3rd Annual TOF Blazing Fun Run & 5K brings together runners, families, and friends to raise awareness and support for autism.   This is more than a race—it’s a celebration of acceptance, understanding, and the power of coming together. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or walking with loved ones, every step you take helps create a brighter, more inclusive future.   With a timed 5K for competitive runners and a sensory-friendly fun run designed for all abilities, everyone can blaze their own trail at their own pace. Come run, walk, or roll with us, and help us spread the light of awareness, one step at a time!   As a result of last year's race, our committee donated needed funds to the Texoma Swim Foundation. Magnolia Festival 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Hosted by the Durant Area Chamber of Commerce, the Magnolia Festival 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run are part of the Magnolia Festival!  Early packet pickup 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 29th at Opera House Coffee.  Location: in Durant, Oklahoma, on W. Evergreen Street, between 2nd Street and 3rd Street (in front of Opera House Coffee) 6:30 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. - Packet Pickup/ Race Day Registration8:00 a.m. - 1-Mile Fun Run starts8:30 a.m. - 5K Run StartsAwards immediately following completion of the 5k. 5k Awards: trophies for Overall Male and Overall FemaleGold, Silver, and Bronze medals for each of the following age categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Up. 1-mile Fun Run Awards: Medals for all! Jarid Taylor Memorial Run

Durant, OK
Jarid was a Bryan County Sheriff’s Deputy who lost his life in the line of duty on January 14, 2020. He was in route to a 911 call when he was in a fatal car accident. Although he loved his job, he was much more than a police officer. Jarid’s greatest accomplishment was being a Daddy to two beautiful children. He loved to deer hunt, watch OU football, and had the best sense of humor. Jarid leaves behind family and friends who loved him dearly who want to always honor and remember him for the wonderful person he was. Where do proceeds go?  ● OK C.O.P.S. chapter—This organization assists family members and co-workers of fallen police officers in the state of Oklahoma with resources to help them after experiencing such a tragic loss. To date, we have given over $20,000 to C.O.P.S. in Jarid’s name.  ● Heart of a Hero award—One cadet at each CLEET & KTC police academy graduation is awarded the Jarid Taylor Heart of a Hero award where they receive a monetary amount and personalized plaqu
